Ar you able to give us an idea of the length of footage/gameplay you saw/played? Was it just a short segment, or a longer walkthrough?

Just make sure they are using the right shade of green for Brew and that ZE BOILER scene is in there in some way. Ze Boiler or riot.

And god forbid if Brew goes blue.

In a franchise where you can possess your own farts, I'm sure they'll keep the right balance. I'm not expecting it to become Eraserhead or anything 👀

That's a bit harsh. As a matter of fact, Xavier is no different than any other PR ("a polite reminder that Soulstorm is a whole new game but I can't tell you anything!"). Plus, he's doing it for free. He just wanted to "share" his enthusiasm.

Nope. Xavier saw the game this week, then asked if he could say anything about it, or even if he'd seen it. Given he's a big fan we thought that was fine.

That's fine Xavier, I appreciate all that you have said already and I understand the frustration you would feel wanting to share something amazing with people who would appreciate it but are not allowed to.
We only have to wait like one more year for it. That's not that bad.

I actually really enjoy this lack of information on the game. Too often you find out lots about something (game/movie/iPhone) before it's released and then nothing is a surprise anymore. I hope once OWI get around to releasing some footage it's only a sliver of what's in the game so that we can discover all the cool stuff for ourselves. The ARG is a great teaser for speculation and whatnot for the meantime.

I'm quite happy to hear, Xavier! Even though I'm GREEN with envy, it's great to hear that they seem to be catering to the fans and going to the right direction with the game.

Some of the reaction in here has been a bit baffling! Obviously I would love if we could hear more but it's Oddworlds game, they're releasing bits of info about the game to us in a very deliberate way and I trust them in that regard.

Plus I don't think Xav was bragging or anything. Hearing that they have something to present which was enough for Xav to be so excited about, only helped me get even more excited! We will all get access to the game at the same time in the end so no point whingeing!

And should say thanks Xav for the update, it's good to know the game seems to be going in a good direction and to hear it from a fan!

The "share" told a different story although perhaps English not being his first language I jumped the gun there. You just see nice enthusiastic Xavier feeling as if he's accused of being a shill and you just jump in swinging.

Also, there's nothing suggesting Xav or anyone *is* gobbling up everything. I mean OWF is the most criticial bunch of fans. I'm also very wary and ol' Alex even said Xav had his constructive criticism despite his enthusiasm.

If you can't tell us about the game itself, maybe you can tell us how it was being presented to you? How many people were there?

We did a series of showings for the game over the week, but Xavier's was in a hotel. Present was LL, Pete, myself and the game's exec producer.

This is all absolutely normal for videogames, btw. :)
