This looks fucking INCREDIBLE. Jesus, this is exactly the sort of thing I was hoping for regarding Oddworld moving forward, just, this is amazing. Well done OWI! I'm guessing this could be a still from a cut-scene or something, so not neceesarily indicative of gameplay detail, but nevertheless it's truly gorgeous.
Interesting that there's a glukkon in there, maybe an overseer as was suggested above. Isn't that slig work? That makes me wonder about the scale of Soulstorm. Could it be that this is one of the glukkons you think is the big bad, when in reality the stakes are so much higher? Of course it's all conjecture at this point but I'm just pumped. Absolutely fantastic. Alex &co., you've fucking outdone yourselves. |

Wish Ed had a newer camera |
If we consider the Glukkon's clothes (from what we can see of them) and the lack of medals & chains etc. I think we can eliminate General Dripik from the trio we've seen in Abe's Exoddus.
Given the shape of the head, I also don't think it is likely at all to be Vice President Aslik or Director Phleg either, and the clothing also would not match for Aslik. So either it is the return of Molluck, a new Glukkon high in command, or just a regular Glukkon as STM suggested. |
I'm still pretty convinced this is the revamped desert scene from AE. That scene had a random Glukkon in it selling the Brew, so good chance that's him.
If not, this kind of makes for an interesting revelation in Glukkon behavior because the Glukkons are not the types to supervise slaves themselves. They have Sligs for that. And if the shoulder pad length is still a status indicator, this guy isn't a low ranked Glukkon either. Then again the shoulder pad thing got introduced in MO so that might very well be retconned at this point. |

I, too, think it's pretty good :)

Also, I'm glad that they've given Mudokons feather hair after years of it just being implied that they had feather hair. They tried with Munch's Oddysee, but it's nice to see them going all the way. |

I couldn't see that before at all good eye |
I'm positive that's Molluck, which would place this photo as before the ending of NnT (and presumably before NnT as a whole, unless Molluck went out for a quick visit while Abe was doing his trials).
In AE, Molluck was in charge of Soulstorm Brewery and the Mining Co prior to his disappearance (he didn't die at the end of AO). So this could well have been Molluck on a visit to his mining operation, and looking on while Mudokons were being put to work. So perhaps Ed knows the connection between Molluck and Rupturefarms, and therefore Abe? It would explain why he was so keen to get the word to Abe about what's going on. Orrr it's just a coincidental resemblance and this Gluk ain't Molluck at all. |

Wait, Pete you're saying that still is a touched up render from Unity? That is very, very exciting, and impressive.
Also nice one Glitterpanther! |

I'm with Manco. Molluck is likely observing the new recruits/slaves at Necrum, sometime before New 'n' Tasty. |
