I'm just saying that it's normal to have time constraints (plus, one could say it actually made the game greater). Moreover, having more time doesn't equal, unfortunately, quality (MO and NnT are good examples of that fact).

Well that's how the team feel about it, which is what I was originally saying.

Part of me wonders if the vault would have been instrumental to the Lulu Fund.

If it wasn't what would Abe and co. do with it? Destroy it to rid Oddworld of worthless paper soaked with the blood of enslaved Mudokons? Take its contents to fight the industrialist world at its own game (money = power)? Blow it all on a lifetime's worth of brew and Slig escorts?

The Lulu fund was an artifact of the fact that OWI ran out of time. The original plan was to have Abe possess Lulu and then turn a bunch of failing factories profitable, and thus make Lulu rich through standard capitalist means. So it's definitely not got anything to do with the fund.

Do people interpret the word 'Vault' as meaning that Molluck stored something there? Or that Molluck himself had been imprisoned there? My initial thought was the latter, but I just now recalled that Abe and Munch were meant to go to the ruins of Rupturefarms in MO.

To me, after finding the vault itself playing Abe's Oddysee and New n Tasty, It looks to me as sort of like a Bunker/shelter. To me it appears as if Molluck keeps all his personal belongings and treasure in the vault so that he could survive in some sort of melt-down/emergency.
