They are gifs that didn't exist until yesterday, so they should count. If we used THAT logic, no GIF would work since the game is a few years old now

I'm not sure if it counts if you take them from YouTube gameplay videos, Gunnr. When the challenge was 25 photos of Scrub Abe rescuing Muds we kinda decided that we should all be sourcing them ourselves and not just taking from gameplay footage on YouTube. Not sure how everyone feels about this, as technically you did make them into GIFS yourself. They specifically ask for new, though, and that footage has been available to the public previously.

I agree, that's just the way we took on the task last time. It's just Gunnr's .gifs linked directly to a YouTube video they were ripped from that showed the .gifs most certainly weren't sourced "new". You can tell they want us to put effort in, I think anyway.

Slightly off topic: For some reason the copyright protection on my copy of N'n'T for PS3 says it's invalid. Has anyone experienced this? I recently transferred all my data from one system to another. It's a bit convoluted because I purchased new and tasty on a UK PS4 using a US account, then sold the PS4 and transferred the game to PS3, then to another PS3 and now I can't get on it. God knows what step in the process messed it up.

Until I figure it out I can't really get stuck in to help.

Abe's eyes at the top of the Soulstorm page are gone, replaced with a static image of his head from behind. Not sure how relevant that is.

Also, what do we *do* with the revealed code?

EDIT: Okay, upon scrolling back up the page from the form, the eyes are back... Wth???

I believe it is in fact a new video... the background seems to have a different colour that doesn't quite match the black of the soulstorm webpage... and the image seems to have been pushed to the right hand side and there is a definitive line between Abe's face and the left half - the only time Abe's face leaks over is when the image twitches.

Now this could mean literally nothing. It could be the same video and I'm going mad: I'm on a different monitor to usual so it could be possible I've only just noticed these things. Is it in the realm of possibility that Abe's face it twitching in morse code? There does seem to be distinct short twitches and long twitches. Probably reaching because we're just waiting for the next piece.

Either way, this discussion is best continued in the general ARG thread as piece 4 is complete, and we have no idea if it even means anything.

It was the monitor I was using at university - the colours were much more true. But yeah we shouldn't really post in here anymore, this section of the ARG is complete.
