Because the thread is obsolete - you already have another place to post these, and people are discouraged from posting new content here now that there's a better place for it. Having all of the videos in one subforum, except for the ones in this thread, is counter-intuitive and silly. Should everyone post videos twice?

I dont see a down side other than as you said keeping an otherwise dead topic at the top of the forum, which I didnt see it as. I saw it from a bystanders perspective. Someone looking for these videos, and they would go to this thread. Rather than going to everyones individual thread. But ill stop then.

The threads in a subforum are better for categorisation. It's easier for people to search for threads in a subforum than through pages of a thread. It might not seem logical to you now, but as long as people use the subforum appropriately and don't post videos in other places it will make a lot of sense in the long run.

But if you so much as view the video page it counts as a view. U dont even have to start the video. I click on my videos to see if theyve processed and it adds a view.

But I uploaded these from PS4 and Im not eager to share them (theyre more to show off to people a route I use for 50%) atm so I didnt bother checking them.

Maybe Google bot likes your video.
