I'm pretty happy to see this on it's way. In the two days I managed to have access to a PS4 to play NnT, this was certainly my biggest issue out of all I had. I never felt like I had any real control over what I was doing, and this made it practically impossible for me to do anything besides the main path (whereas in the originals I can finish all the secret areas with only a couple of tries).
I'd still love to see movement mapped to the D-Pad one day, but that's just my personal tastes on 2D movement controls (I feel the same way about every 2D game, be it Super Meat Boy or Spelunky). I can always wait until the PC version for that though!
