I'm definitely in favor of the urban setting at least for part of the game. It doesn't necessarily have to be Nolybab, but a big city could work really well for platforming, and could have a pretty interesting atmosphere. Towering, corporate HQs, 10 story advertisements, dilapidated slums in the shadows of opulent skyscrapers... Could be a very good setting to explore class-ism, if that's one of the themes they're aiming for.

I'm so angry I only just noticed Nolybab is Babylon backwards god fucking dammit
|
I hope you catched what they did with "Elum" yet.
|
I NEVER NOTICED THAT EITHER
I am so distraught right now |
Idea.
I think they should make as like a INFAMOUS SECOND SON game where you can unlock powers and stuff. The powers would be like Possession Fuzzles and new gamespeak.
|
I dunno. I'd rather new powers and unlocks be within the game's story rather than through an upgrade menu.
One thing that Squeek needs is a genuinely compelling story for both Abe and Munch. |

I thought Slogs were called Chanthers until the end of the Free-Fire Zone. "I had just got past those Slogs" "OOHHHHHH" |
As far as the city=endgame thing. I think that refers to just the big cities that the kahnsumors live in (or however they're spelt). I think we could still get slums or subdistricts for lower lifeforms (Sligs, clakkerz, the worker races).

I just want to say that artwork is pretty sweet;) Really captures the darker side to Oddworld. Me thinks anway
|
It's from the Oddworld movie.
|
Yes, and hopefully would/will be seen late in the Quintology! I'd love to see the heart of the industrial Oddworld

Thanks Holy sock. I suppose they never got around to making the movie then. Not sure if I'm glad about that or not Lel.
