Crug held back a smile while looking at the guards' guilty faces. Crug steps a little further than where Rawrick stood. He pointed to Nikoh and said:
"That's 'im. His name is Nikoh, if I remember right." Crug looked at the guards again and continued speaking, "And he's probably better than all of these idiots Borik had hired." Crug was feeling the business vibe again, something he hadn't felt since his cigar factory days. Crug looked to Rawrick once more: "You'd be an idiot yourself to not take him," he paused, "and I know you're no idiot, boss." |
Nikoh straightened himself up and held out a hand to greet his would be employer.
"I got's experience in all lines of work so I'm sure you can find a use for me." Nikoh looked over at Crug who seemed to be happy with the situation, then looked back to Borik. "Name's Nikoh, nice to to meet you, boss" Nikoh said confidently, assured he'd get himself a job here. |
Rawrick gave a deep grunt once Nikoh had spoken.
"Yer right I ain't no Idiot that's for sure, I will trust in your initiative.... Which is why I will be putting you two to work together." Rawrick looked from Crug to Nikoh. "You'll be coming with me to meet the *locals*, You can fill me in on what they are like on route." Rawrick took steps towards the office door whilst saying to the rest of the sligs. "You lot can stay here and guard the cabin for your incompetence." |
"Uh-huh." Crug said firmly. He walked over to the sad looking armory. Glancing over broken weapons, he picked up two black painted sticks. Crug walked over to Nikoh and held out the stick.
"It's a baton. We gotta have some authority, right?" He said half sarcastically. Crug looked to Rawrick and said: "So, where to?" |

Hello there,
I'm new to this site, but I have many experiences with Roleplaying, and I would love to join an Oddworld RP. If anyone has any info about a potential revival please let me know. Thank you for your time! |
I'm all game, but I'd rather just play a character than be DM. Perhaps with your past experience you would be willing?:) Also I am not sure how forum role play is meant to work out. Perhaps if you were to be the DM you could let us know how you'd like us to do it, sorta like rules or a format if you get me.

The Pace of Change Revival
I suppose I could run it, does anyone know he ran the first RP? Maybe if they saw there were people interested, they'd want to take the reigns again. And yeah, it'd be nice to have more than 2 people and a DM. I was actually thinking earlier when I read over the rules that since there are supposed to be one thread for each faction, wouldn't it make sense to have one DM for each, and a third thread for confrontations, fights, ect? I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts.

I'll trust you that it would be ideal to have a dm for each thread and that but I just can't see that happening without more pole getting involved:P Not sure how we cna get more on top of this with us though:D

Well, we just need to reach out and find likeminded people who would want to participate and get them on board. It seems like quite a few people visit this thread, so maybe these talks will catch somebody's eye. You just gotta have faith.
