The website looks incredible and the stranger home page is so epic. I am a graphic designer and all I gotta say is damn. That is some fine foxy design and layout. JAW really have done top notch work. I have to admit I had doubts at that E3 showing of some of that footage that wasn't meant to be showed, but I never lost faith. Effort and hard work can be see here. Excellent work guys and girls.
Also, where is this shot from?? It looks creepy as shit. 9/10, would crap pants in that environment. (9/10 because of the foot clipping :P) Also, are you guys keeping that portal effect? I hate to sound like a nit picky douche schnozzle, but, it looks like they're being transported to heaven. Or a milky bar commercial. How do you guys feel about it? |
Everyone hates it, including me, and I've tackled Wil in person. On the issue.
Apparently it stands out from the red/grey backgrounds, and is more visibly "desirable" than sending slaves into a burning halo of fire. I'd explain what's wrong with that, but I'd just be repeating myself. |
Are Abe's eyes fullbright in that screen? I don't necessarily think that's a good idea.

The new oddworld.com looks amazing! I'm just wondering why they choose to put those awful watermarks on the screenshots of NnT on the desktop version (while it's not on the mobile version).
Anyway, very nice work! |

Some more new screenshots just got posted on the site.
Quick, someone point out all the minor flaws that don’t actually matter. |
If in doubt, squint.
|
Nope, nothing to say, they are amazing. They really captured what AO was about.
|
Poly count too low too different from the original Scrabania too orange free-fire zone too blue Abe too purple rope not ropey enough can't find my favourite granny porn site no ferns in original Paramonia.
I think that just about covers it. No but seriously, fucking awesome. |
These screenshots are incred! Can't wait to play it.

So excited
|
These screenshots have make my whole week. Each and everyone one of them are gorgeous.
|
They look promising
|
Hmm. What's this all about?

We've added a new type of gameplay that works with your Move/Wii balance board/gyro in your Vita. Abe wobbles on very thin platforms like ropes, pipes, fences, linen lines and strings of sausages, and you have to gesture wildly in the opposite direction to regain balance. For PC/Mac, you have to twiddle with the volume dial on your speakers.
Happy Halloween. |

I think the thing bugging me about the eyes right now is that they're completely illuminated but not at all glow-y.
That paramonia shot is fantastic. Even more keen for this now. |

13897 I reckon this is an extended cutscene of Abe falling into the Stockyards Escape :) |

In the screenshot with the two mudokon statues, presumably the camera will be mostly fixed on a certain viewpoint and the player walks towards the entrance. The old portal effect just won't work in a 3D game, although a blinding shining light may be a bit strange to say the least. |
I think that's a cutscene, if I remember correctly from the original
|
Get those screenshots out as wallpapers, dammit!
|
At least stop giving screenshots in crappy, compressed JPGs.

I don't like that 'sunset' scrabania shot. The colours (pink to yellow) look too cliché, and it doesn't give that baking hot, lifeless feel that original scrabania has. It's too smooth, too sweet.
The sky looks quite flat, and very PS1 quality. To me, it doesn't feel like the environments are as real / alive as in the original and I think it's partly because there's so much empty space, like in that 'sunset' type scrabania image. |
There's the nitpicking we were looking for

There's the pot, but where's the kettle?
