So Studio Killers is finally releasing their debut album in a week and they released previews of the tracks. Pretty good, gonna get it.

MSI stopped appealing to me after You'll Rebel To Anything. Still not entirely sure what it is about their newer stuff I dislike so much.

Well yeah, but it's something very specific about if that made it shit and I've never been able to put my finger on it. I want to say it got too melodic or something but that doesn't seem even remotely right.

These are the nicest songs (although their lyrical content isn't necessarily "nice"). As fantastic as all the modern classical stuff is and as interesting as things such as the New York jazz scene are, this is the raw stuff that you can relate to, if only on the level that it's completely unpretentious.

I listened to the Studio Killers' debut album. It wasn't anything spectacular, the singles they had already released were clearly the best tracks. It was a letdown. :(

I take back what I said about the Studio Killers album, it is actually quite good, I just preferred the singles they had already released to most of the tracks on the album.
