I just wanted you to get a taste of the industrial world.

Crashpunk 03-06-2013 10:28 AM

It's horrible. I'm sticking with Native.

...and here comes the HATE.

wait for it...

Josh 03-06-2013 11:21 AM

native? more like GAYtive woaaaaaah

Wings of Fire 03-06-2013 11:23 AM

This thread is already bad enough as it is. If you turn it into a 'My theme is better than yours' argument I will have no choice but to necrum it.

And that would be terrible.

I'm enjoying this.

Bullet Magnet 03-06-2013 05:51 PM

It's going to his head. I warned you about this.

MA 03-06-2013 06:40 PM

everyone overthrow him quick

Nate 03-07-2013 12:43 AM

As an addendum to WoF's post: Varrok, if you have a question for Nepsotic, send him a PM. Don't spam up a thread.

"And then you get war AND disease! Hooray!"

I think war will be inevitable, anyway. But I do take into consideration the STATS, and so I am led away from my initial point of view of letting nature do the work natural selection does not.

"At the end of the day, a human life is a human life"

Yeah, thanks. If I wanted to hear some hippy-fag bull i'd google 'Things hippy fags say'. I hate the whole idea of 'people are something to be treasured'. It's often thrown around to stop necessary things from happening.

"and someone with AIDS has as much of a right to live as you."

I never said they didn't.

"because if you have a sick mind where you think someone else has more of a right to die than you, the world doesn't need you any way..."

I think many people should die before me. I'm sure many people would say that there are vast sections of society that should die before them.

"Jacob you gotta stop being 13 at some point in your life."

Pardon me?

"or that people are wishing death on those that think that."

I'm not wishing anything. I'm just questioning whether we should interfere. I have the same point of view on IVF, especially when there are so many unwanted kids in the world.

I'm intrigued by the idea that we'll PEAK at 10b, though. Personally I can't see it happening, but only from a stand point of that people will be living stupidly long lives, so there won't be that many people dropping off the end.

Saying that, I think when we do start to burst at the seams on this planet, we'll disappear to another planet to repeat the process.

jacob I'm not sure a forum for a game series with hippy-ish themes is the right place to sound off your regressive ideas

A-haaaa.

You may have a point.

Bullet Magnet 03-07-2013 03:59 PM

When it comes to IVF, there are more couples with fertility problems than there are kids available for adoption.

MA 03-07-2013 08:06 PM

so are we culling people with fertility problems too, or...?

Discuss secks in Africa.

Didn't you start a thread like 10 years ago also entitled "Positive thinking" which descended into smut?

Hold on: where do you think we'll go, and what method of getting people off the planet do you know that actually exceeds the birthrate?

Josh 03-08-2013 01:10 AM

we're going to build a bridge to the moon out of the corpses of the poor people that jacob infected with aids

STM 03-08-2013 03:30 AM

SPACE ELEVATOR.

all great ideas. we should be scientists.

"Hold on: where do you think we'll go"

I don't know, some undiscovered planet...or Mars...OR THE MOON! I was thinking that, that would be some time in the future...not, like, tomorrow.

"and what method of getting people off the planet do you know that actually exceeds the birthrate?"

The wealthy will be the ones that leave first. Which, if the world isn't riddled with pollution, could be a bonus.

"Didn't you start a thread like 10 years ago also entitled "Positive thinking" which descended into smut?"

I don't think so.

Are you the same Pilot who disappeared to meet aliens (that's a genuine question, by the way)?

Nepsotic 03-08-2013 11:33 AM

So my dinosaur idea is officially ruled out, then?

OANST 03-08-2013 11:50 AM

No. That seems valid.

Not likely. Almost every mass migration in history has been of the middle classes. The first examples that come to mind are the early settlers in the Americas and the pioneers from the East Coast United States to the West.

The rich don't move because they'd have to leave their assets behind. The poor don't move because they can't afford it. It's the middle classes who go, because they see it as an opportunity.

Disappeared... I've been here the whole time. I never leave.

Where the hell have you been? You please me.
