I actually think that the Share button is a great add, in the sense where you can record yourself playing. For Tutorials and Let's Plays, it's a great thing, because you can do it Live or you can record it, edit it and publish in any of the social networks there will be available.

Look at modern smartphones, most have 3 or just 2 buttons and yet they are perfectly fine. Not that I'm complaining just saying that when you have a button, might as well give it multiple purposes rather than just 'SHARE'. *flips table* not really, can't afford a new table :( |

I am with AlexFili, it's not like the gamepad has a "Home" button (or better, "Options" button), and the share option could be there... I mean Why bother making something practical/clever, Come on, let's add something like "Volume up/Down" buttons to the gamepad. Or a separate "Change Controls" button.*sets the table and flips is again*

I, for one, love the physical share button built into my TV computer tablet phone
I think the worst part of this is the complete lack of backwards compatibility. Like, the Gaikai stuff they mentioned? “Exploring options”. That’s code for “we don’t know how but we’ll try and get something in mid-2015; by the way you’ll have to rebuy any of your physical games”. Just when I thought backwards compatibility was coming back in. |

e: I don't really even know what I'm going for here, I guess I just want to explore the world instead of doing puzzles in the game. |

HEY GUYS YOU CAN PREORDER THE PS4 FOR $900 YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH
Australia, the land of over priced everything about games.
Also it very clearly says placeholder price. |
but it's a placeholder price
Edit: Oh, Daxter King. |
I'm perfectly aware of that. Still, it's something about the PS4, so it's entirely relevant to this thread.
EDIT: Joke not funny any more damn posters posting all the time
900: one dollar for every title your new console won’t support any more.
:
There's this thing called a tax that will probably kick it up above 900
Well yeah, minus one dollar for the Move.

Damn. I wish the states had that law.
So, £399.85 for a PS4...Not bad, I guess.
hahahhahahhahahaaha no
That's just a little cheaper than the PS3 was upon release.
Not bad but uggh uggh |
All these companies are guessing prices. Until you can send me a link of a Sony announcement, I'll take them with a shaker of salt.
Just spitballin’, but if the price was going to be amazingly low Sony would be crowing about it right from the start, like with the PS1/Dreamcast thing.
I wouldn’t expect them to announce it until we’ve seen the next Xbox. |

Hearing the original Playstation start-up sound give me so much nostalgia.
The PSX start up sound gives me mixed feelings because on one hand it brings me way the fuck back to my childhood when everything was candy and rainbows and on the other hand it unsettles me because it was a reoccurring sound in the worst lot of my dreams.
I don't know. What is this?
