Welcome, I've just started Year 11 as well, although I'm only doing the equivalent of Maths B (Extension 2 wasn't offered at my school :l). I'm also doing Physics and am accelerated in Chemistry, i.e. I'm doing the HSC for Chemistry this year. Good to see another Aussie on here.

Hello new person
You seem interesting we should be friends |
I remember the times when I was Australian. Good times.

Hey, I just graduated after a year of not doing homework, never listening in class, dicking around instead of doing school work and otherwise just displaying symptoms of ADHD. This tactic got me an A in Math B and I barely scraped a B in Math C. For grade eleven in Math C, a lot of the focus is on matrices and vectors, iirc. Grade 12 is where math C really becomes a bitch (though Math B is still fairly simple).
If you want to get ahead, learn about differential and integral calculus as you start them in the second semester of grade eleven Math B and they are a big part of grade 12 Math C. |
:
Thanks for the tip about calculus, I'll read into it when I have some free time to try to get a head start. I'll probably let you guys know how I do on tests and report cards later on so you can be proud of me :) |
I scored 97.5% and 85% on my Maths B and C exams respectively last year, just to set the bar high.
I probably could have done better on C, but most of my revision happened in the library the morning before. That actually ended up being around 5 hours worth by the time I'd finished, just in time to go to the exam. I really wish I'd have been more organised, even if it only meant saving myself that frantic morning rush of revision. Having B and C on Monday and Tuesday didn't help, and neither did only getting my last Physics assignment for the year the weekend before. What I'm trying to say is be organised. |
Im much smarter than u guyzzzz anywei

You're all being way too nice to the new person. What a fucking disgrace this thread has become.
|
Someone should mention New Zealand. That'd be mean.

OANST would you like to sit down and talk about it? Are you okay?

He's already sitting. Why would he ever use a computer while standing?

Doesn't everyone?
