the most recent fighting game I've played is some touhou game idk which, a friend of mine mentioned it in a passing conversation so i tried it out and it was pretty cool, took me forever to figure out what those card thingies did though, turned out they were some kind of special move i guess? me and my brother played it together for a bit and i lost it somehow, might of accidentally deleted it when clearing up my hard drive, might try and find out what one it actually was some time.

I used to play a lot of mortal kombat on the mega drive, only remember completing the first one but still played the other two, favorite would probably be 2, uhh I vaguely remember bloody roar, all the characters could turn into animals or something which i remember finding pretty neat at the time

I loved Bloody Roar as a kid, but growing up, the game kinda felt out of place. Still, it made some of my best memories as a kid.

The Touhou fighting games are pretty good actually, I used to play them quite a bit, they change all the mechanics every game though which usually takes forever to get used to.

I remember playing Tekken on the ps2, I was always kind of confused by the characters (especially the tree guy) but i assume it must of been story related or something right? I didn't really play any earlier tekken or know anything about the story, it was mainly just some game my brother had to me

Darkstalkers: Resurrection - Launch Trailer

I must say Injustice is looking excellent so far, I'm especially impressed by the sound effects, they sound very similar to the X-ray move attacks' sound effects in Mortal Kombat, I really like that. It also looks pretty good visually and there seems to be a lot of characters to choose from in the game. Has it been confirmed yet if there is a story mode to it or is the arcade mode the only 'story' mode?

I liked MK9 so much, I played it for 2 straight weeks when I was on my vacations, back in February. The combat was excellent, although animations are a bit stiffed, BUT it works for the gameplay, so it's all good. If they keep this up, I'll jump aboard.

Was that Scarecrow at the end?

Yes. For now, he only appears in "hazard" form, where it's only part of a stage or character super/ex move. So far, NetherRealm have yet to announce this character as playable.

Shame. He was on of the few DC heroes I liked.

As far as Ed have told, there's some characters that have yet to be revealed and they will be "prize unlockable", like the old days. So, I wouldn't lose hope yet.

A set of custom-built Injustice: Gods Among Us arcade cabinets made an appearance over at Red Fight District 2 this past weekend. The cabs contain PlayStation 3 consoles inside and feature awesome artwork on the stick panel and above the screen.
