You're right, plus I haven't had a enough experience with Windows phone OS to properly judge it.
|
This isn't a thread for mobile OS discussion.
|
So all it is is a browser that only browses the OWI/JAW site?
Man, what a gyp. Better be free. |
Does it give a notification when new content appears? Because that might just make it worth it.
|
:
(There's been no new content since to test this) Also... Abe says hello when the app opens!! |
Yes it's free.
|
I have opened that app so many times just to hear abe haha :')

|
That makes sense, after all, Android is a better OS.
|
Here we go again...
ANYWAY, the app is not something spectacular, yet. I'll wait for AppSpeak and see what's new. |
Is there any YouTube footage of the app? It tells better than a picture.

In other words it is like a "portable" Oddworld website. Thanks for telling me.

|
Well, what else could they do with it?
|
I dunno. A portable Oddworld database would've been pretty cash.
|
Something like the old website with an official canonical encyclopaedia of all the stuff? That was an awesome lay out.
|
That's still up, but its buggy and I can't remember the URL. It is still up, though. Google it.
|
:
I remind the old website before the blog. |

Nate, you rock. Thankyou immensely.
I thought everything on the old site version was lost, but even with the awkward scrolling problems I'm glad to see the old content is still there. ^^ Hooray for the return of content like character bios and other assorted goodies that I feared were lost. |
I used to spend days on end trawling through that site and all it's goodies when I was younger.
|
I had no idea the old website could still be visited, thanks Nate!
Indeed, I used to spend a while reading the stuff and checking the goodies. |
Heh I tought that site was too good to be lost, glad to see some of you guys think so too.
Note that other Oddworld sites were also backed up and made available here: http://oddworldlibrary.net/archives/web/ |
Aside from typing in the full address, is there any way to get around the scrolling issues? It's pretty inconvenient going back to the root menu every time.
Thanks for the links as well, I always lose the URL |

Or a combination of the tab and enter keys and a whole lot of blind luck. Works for me.
|
Please let there be a fart button
|
Thanks Nate, worked for me.
A self-contained portable encyclopedia would be great to read on the train. |
