What about violence?
Violence is not the correct response to words.
Oh, I see now
:
If there was a 100% correct response to violence, there probably wouldn't be any violence anymore. Violence is not the correct action, for the start

What if they puncture your lungs?
Loud exhalation.
Use the minimum amount of force required to protect yourself. As a last resort, since there are probably smarter ways to do it if you have the sense to figure them out.
As the Doctor said, "violence doesn't end violence. It extends it." |
Unless you kill everything

No one is touching my cloke.

That's my contribution. |
What about peace through war? A hypothetical war to end all wars, what about that?
To end all conflict, a war would have to wipe out the entire human race. I think that's probably something we want to avoid.
Probably.
Actually, now that I think about it... |
Oh no. BM is thinking again.
I'm founding the Involuntary Human Extinction Movement. Come to think of it, we're all working towards that already.
I don't know what it is but it's awful and I hate it and the reaction to it and everything is terrible.

On topic: I've never truly understood why Muslims get so angry and zealous when someone critiques or satirises their religion. I haven't heard of any recent angry Christians do something this extreme and they get it in the neck constantly from the likes of Richard Dawkins and the like. |
:
Everything is terrible. |

It used to be better. There was a 300 year period in which Baghdad was the cultural centre of the world.

It took Christianity 2000 years to get to this point. Islam is currently at the point that Christianity was 500-1000 years ago.

If such comparisons actually work. Sikhism is only 500-600 ears old, and it's not especially violent. :
