I played the 3DS Demo. Its pretty good. Might up even buying the full game when it comes out.

I love the Resident Evil games, and i really enjoyed 5. i just hope ORC turns out to be the gameplay of 1/2 with the 4 player co-op fun that L4D did.

No! RE5 is not RE! It is a great game, but it has no survival horror elements at all, without the title you wouldnt even know its a RE game, and it looks as if 6 is going the same way, although it still looks like a good game.

I liked RE5 even though it was completely based on action and co-op rather than horror or survival. To be honest, I liked RE5 a bit better than RE4 because of the co-op. It was so much more fun with a friend. But I really didn't find RE4 scary either, maybe I should play the older ones...

For what i've played. I don't find RE that scary. Silent Hill is much more scary.

Oh and RE5 is so funny to play with a mate. This playthrough of it is really funny, I recommend you lot taking a look.

I don't know wth happened to Capcom last years... you know:
giving right to DMC sequel to some outside non-japanese studio, where everyone thinks smoking emo kids are cool, (restarting series which really didn't need that)
making RE5, which is neither survival, nor horror game (so it's really not RE game, is it? RE was survival horror), THEN giving rights to a new RE game to outside studio... that's kinda weak

What happen to Capcom:

I hate it when there give good games away to newbie companys like you said. It just sounds that 'lets take Capcom for example' there can't think of any good ideals anymore. So there go to Slant Six Games. There come up with a good ideal (Operation Raccoon City) but yet there is no survival horror. Yeah there survival but that's it. Because you have a shit load of guns. And you can kill anything in one go.

The same thing has happen to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Go west, get a ideal that needs more work on it, sell it and make money off it. And just forgetting the hardcore fans and try to get the Cod Fans to play there games. And that never works! Because there go back to Cod when there can't get past a easy level! ):

I think the situation with MGR:R is even worse: not only there was no Kojima (directly) since the production started, not only it was being made to be liked by west community, but now it's been given to Bayonetta's devs, and they changed elementary design of the game (it's not a MGS4 prequel anymore... now it's a sequel. And we probably can say goodbye to any promised stealth system)

Hideo Kojima was going to get rid of the whole ideal because nothing worked and none of the team at Kojima argeed on anything. Untill Atsushi Inaba said why not get some people from the west to do it. That's when everything else went bad. There even got rid of the name soild! Goodbye Metal Gear Soild. I wish I played it when there frist made the games. :fuzemb:

Back on Resident Evil ORC: I think that game will sell well but it won't make all the fans happy. And most people have been mocking it. And I can see why. Resident Evil 6 may be the last because I can't think of any ideals what there can make next. Unless there make ten more games about 'The Past'.

I think there should stop making Resident Evil games. I just feel like there killing it now. Just keep making Lost Planet games. :D

they still have a chance to revive the franchise with RE6, if it is action based, the franchise will die, i'll probably be more excited about it when i see more of the game, and i know its going back to the RE4 style (That was the best), but even if in the future capcom reveal that it is action based, it will still sell well, because its a RE game, i'll still get it for sure, although i can't say the same about ORC, it looks crap, saying that, the only good new RE game looks like its going to be Revelations, and maybe RE6 when i hear more about it.

Revelations does look good. It's the only 3DS game am getting this year. :p

I forgot to try out the 2rd demo that out now for Revelations. I think that will sell well. :D
