oh right, i get it now, also, one of them is wrong, i think its backstory or something, it directs you to the AO track scrabania. to download youtube vids i use
this site though

got 'em! and yeah, the quality is shit, especially when using a youtube downloader, but oh well! i've wanted this full track for ages!

unfortunately though it doesnt have the full mix for the War Room :(

Well does anybody know which adjustments I have to set to play the sound.dat in the original game speed? 'Cause if I import the file it seems really speed up. :/

The original sounds will be dragged out to play slower, just like the backgrounds and sprites are half/quarter of the size they appear in the game.

And since some sounds play in variety of pitches (Mudokon voices are most noticable), there's every chance there is no single speed to play it at to get every sound right.

I used to have every single sound file from Strangers Wrath, ripped from the disc as a wav. Unfortunately I needed an xBox codec to play them and whereas I still have the files, I do not remotely remember the codec that I needed :(

now i know that there has been a past thread linking us to a AE/AO soundtrack download link. but is there anything official? in the OWF one isnt it ripped straight from the game? and theres sound effects in the background and you don't get any chase music. you know which one i mean, where your running from a scrab or a slig, and theres those massive beats, but in a slightly different tone depending on where you are, (ex, paramonia os RuptureFarms), and it doesnt have the chase music from scrabanian nests or paramonian nests, is there anywhere i can get both the full soundtracks with all that stuff?
There is the Abe a Gogo official soundtrack that is 100% offcial. Abe a Gogo is the Japanese name for Abe's Oddysee. So it's basically AO's OST.

The only problem with the Abe-A-Gogo soundtrack is the presence of the sound fx, which I always found kind of annoying.

Did you not used to be able to download all the soundtracks on the V1 Oddworld.com website? I'm pretty sure that's where I got the complete AO soundtrack as well as half of AE and SW.

Oddworld.com had the first few tracks from the Abe a Gogo soundtrack, so they didn't have anything Xav didn't link to.
