FAI-HURR-FUCKS

that took me fucking ages to work out.

i use Chrome.

Wings of Fire 12-09-2011 10:31 AM

Max's interface is confusing, he can navigate the net with a flick of his mouse.

It's like something out of Iron Man.

Bullet Magnet 12-09-2011 10:50 AM

I'm using Chrome right now.

It is the worst computer program I've ever had the misfortune of using, and I've worked with Access.

MeechMunchie 12-09-2011 02:01 PM

*Shudder* Access...

Yeah, I have a query to submit. WHY, WHY?

i tried 2 browser those being IE when i hadnt had my fixed internet, then opera when i shared a computer, now i use firefox,it suits me good.I dont know how are the other browser but this one is good for me,also every browser has its advantages and disadvantages,i also dont like when firefox lags...

Mudokon_Master 12-09-2011 02:45 PM

I originally used IE, then I switched to Firefox after about a year. After which, it was still too slow for my liking so I switched to Chrome. It's not as advanced as Firefox because it's so simple and plastic-y. But hey, it gets the job done a hella of a lot faster.

Mac Sirloin 12-09-2011 03:15 PM

Chrome is clean, organized and seems quick enough. Getting mad about people using it is stupid.

I like the idea of Google sniffing through what I browse. It means they can recommend things to me when I never do online shopping.

I've used Chrome a few times and think it's a reasonably good browser. The main reason why I stick with Firefox is that it has all the plugins that I need. The secondary reason is that it has an incredibly detailed settings dialogue. If Chrome was as customisable as Firefox in these two ways, I would switch.

Mr. Bungle 12-09-2011 05:25 PM

Pretty much what Nate said. I've been using Firefox for years, so I'm just used to its customization. I used Chrome for a few months back when it was first released, though, and I thought it was great. Much better than IE or Safari.

Dixanadu 12-09-2011 07:24 PM

I'm about to paste the word 'Chrome' a billion times nao.

The only other browser on this shit is default; MIS*

It's a load of shite; images and videos load too slow, plus it has all these toolbars automatically installed that I don't even want, and they take up more than half of the monitor.

JennyGenesis 12-10-2011 04:03 AM

I used to use Firefox, but I prefer the simple layout of Safari and I like how it shows your frequently displayed sites when you open a new tab, it's like having bookmarks without actually adding them. Only problem with Safari is that I find it doesn't work well with Facebook.

I have to use that for my IT coursework... it's irritating as fuck.

I use Chrome for a browser. It's the fastest I've ever used, in comparison to Firefox and IE, which have always been sluggish for me. Chrome may be very basic, but it does what I want it to.

Manco 12-10-2011 04:47 AM

I stick with Firefox for the same reason Nate does. I kind of want to start using Opera because I feel Firefox has become a bit sluggish, at least for me. But at the end of the day, it gets the job done, is still reasonably fast, and has add-on support.

What version are you using? IE9 (assuming MIS* is IE) is actually decent.

moxco 12-10-2011 04:47 AM

Access? Learn to SQL people.

ITT we discuss Moxco's mediocre databasing skills.

STM 12-10-2011 05:43 AM

I don't really understand the problem, to me, it seems that the only bad browser is IE, all the other ones are okay in at least one perspective.

JennyGenesis 12-10-2011 06:24 AM

So whats good about IE, AOL and Shiiraa then?

(Or however you spell it)

Havoc 12-10-2011 06:28 AM

As I read on Twitter once. Internet Explorer is not a browser. It is, however, a tool to download one.

So whats good about IE

IE9 is far more standards-compliant than previous versions, has a prettier and more cut-down UI, supports HTML5, can be used to pin websites to the Win7 taskbar, and is pretty damn fast.

A lot of people have horror stories about IE6-8, which were terrible. IE9 is leaps and bounds better than those.

idk when i used internet explorer i picked up sh*t tons of viruses, now when im using firefox i dont seem to get any intrusions.

hedjeroo 12-10-2011 05:32 PM

I use Firefox for regular browsing. I love its customisation options, especially FireGestures. Oh god I love FireGestures. The only way I can put up with using my PC that doesn't have it, is because the mouse has back and forward buttons on it.

I use Opera and Chrome for a couple other miscellaneous things, like browsing porno incognito ;) (isn't that what everybody uses Chrome and Firefox for?) and power tabbing.

STM 12-10-2011 05:35 PM

Why go incognito when you have your own laptop ^-^

hedjeroo 12-10-2011 05:50 PM

It's not to hide it from my boyfriend, it's to hide it from myself. ._.

Last gun = Suicide.

mr.odd 12-10-2011 07:52 PM

Chrome has been like a roller coaster for me. Some days it's rocket speed and other days i could brew a pot of coffee, take a shit, do some laundry, take a shower, and it will still be trying to load up the web page.

Phylum 12-10-2011 07:52 PM

Oh, I get it now. I'm so glad you clarified that for me.

EDIT:

mr.odd posted while I was typing.
