Is it wrong that I think the original looks better?

Are you nuts? HD stranger looks awesome compared to the original, and I'm really loving the updated foliage - Although it appears some textures on the wooden door and that rusty oven haven't been changed. But perhaps they don't need changing.

As I said, I think we'll need larger shots of the HD version to appreciate them better.

EDIT: Also don't forget that I don't have a widescreen monitor and my shots are full-screen, whereas their shots have been shrunk down a lot more than mine have, meaning that mine are higher resolution. Perhaps it's not a fair comparison.

Bigger screenshots, you say?

The close up shot of Stranger looks lovely, I could really see the upgrades in that one.

And not just on Stranger, I also noticed the updates in the background aswell.

Been confirmed that Strangers Wrath HD won't be getting an August release. Someone asked on facebook on the OWI facebook page "Please tell us Stranger's Wrath will release before the end of August. I'm looking forward to this so much I've taken to watching low res walkthroughs on Youtube to get my SW fix."

The reply from OWI - "We can't tell you that as it won't be, sorry."

However..
The fan replied "ORZ...
Do you know how hard it is to hibernate mid summer?
Please, if you can, tide us over with some dev diaries or screen shots."

OWI said - "We've got some stuff coming within the next couple of weeks in this regard."
