Fish have bulgy middle muscles that go all the way along their body. Basically I'm slightly muscular but squishy, and pretty much the same width all along my torso.
|
I am fat and muscular. Meaning I have a largish beer gut, although it's quite rigid from going to the gym/exercising. But round. But the rest of me is muscular, for the most part. I get hit on by feminine gay men when we go out to drink. They call me a bear. When I was single and broke in Ca, I would take my friends to gay bars and get us all drunk on the drinks the small lispy gays would keep buying me. Apparently being large hairy and burly has its benefits. If you're not homophobic and you like alcohol, that is.

Post a pic of your body, DI!

Fuck me.

I have split this thread from WDYLL btw. I feel that if I didn't Nate would have killed you all :D And me... and stuff.
|
I have started a training programme for myself which is pretty awesome. I am going to see if I can gain 2 lbs and also build up stamina for the next rugby season. Gym training at least once a week from now on and I intend to cut down on the amount I smoke from around 8 a month to just 1 or none...either way. Hopefully that should do the trick.
|
I'm much like Max. Skinny, can't seem to put on mass or muscle. Don't really put on fat either except in my cheeks & lower abdomen & even then very very little- I weigh 9 freaking stone. I'm intending to try and bulk up this summer but I doubt it'll work. That said, the little muscle I have on my skinny frame is reasonably defined.
|
I really like muscular girls. My ideal woman is one who can carry me like a princess.
|
At the moment I'm going to the gym four times a week and riding my bike to uni most days. I've been finding that I'm putting on muscle but not losing any fat, so my pecs look more like manboobs :(
I should starve myself for the next two and a half weeks to be ready for my bonus month of summer. |
I suppose Im a bit like DI in the fact that I have fat and muscle, not sure which is dominant though. I am continually trying to lose weight though, shit is hard.
|
:
I think maybe less carbs would help. Dunno though. |
I'm starting my work out in 2 hours: chest, back, biceps... and abdominals. I must say that with this high temperature (35 °C) it's very difficult to increase muscular mass, in fact I'm losing volume, also because I practise more aerobics and I sweat profusely.

I would like to lose some of my gut, but I probably never will bother. It's not too bad at the moment, but it's not getting any smaller.

I have quite a healthy diet, but I'm limited by the fact that I'm vegetarian. I hardly ever eat processed food; almost everything I eat is made from fresh ingredients - I even home-make bread and pasta (with wholemeal flour). I also never eat fatty foods. The big problem is that it's almost impossible to be a vegetarian and cut out carbs entirely. I've reduced my intake significantly in the last few weeks, but it's just not enough.
|
If you feel you are limited as a vegetarian, why not start eating meat? Unless you are against it, but that's a different topic.

The problem is that you're a vegetarian :( |
There's always fish and egg but it depends how far green you've gone.
|
Fish is meat.
Saying that, I'm practically a pollo-pescatarian. |
:
Unfortunately, the taste, smell and (to a lesser extent) texture of both meat and fish make me nauseous and have done since I was a baby. |
I know you're not seriously going to starve yourself, but just to scare you away from the idea I know someone who was pretty big in terms of weight that tried to starve himself.
Within days, he looked like what I could only describe as a fat zombie, didn't help at all. |
I don't starve myself but I find it effective to cut down the amount of meals I have in a day down to one and walk. And I mean fucking trek... no bikes or none of that easy option nonsense.
Dangerous? Yes, but this body didn't happen by accident. EDIT: I should mention that I don't have a skeletal frame with sunken eyes. I'm 5'11" and I weigh 10 and a half stone, and despite my heavy smoking I'm generally a healthy person. |
:
What about eggs? E: Also many cheeses and some forms of thicker dairy contain very little carbs. |
You know, I would consider eggs meat. They're still an animal cell.
I mean, even though it was designed to be ejected from the body it was still a part of the animal at one point. |

...and that's the defenition I'm challenging. Leather is meat! Ivory is meat!

Anyway, lose weight = less carbs. Trust me. It sucks dick while you're doing it, at least for the first few weeks, but you eventually get used to it. As of today, I eat whatever the fuck I want. Greasy/fried foods are my weakness, but I try to moderate my intake. Still, I eat huge portions. I can't help it. I just have a big appetite. But I also walk to/from college five days a week, which is about a two mile walk with steep/severe hills and inclines both ways. I also do push-ups [which I still feel are one of the best workouts you can do at home, the results are immediate within a month] every day, and go to the gym. But I also smoke cigarettes, drink a lot of alcohol, and smoke pot. So I'm not exactly...healthy. |
:
Well as far as I know... Muscle fiber is considered meat. Skin is skin, and fat is fat. Either way, whether eggs are meat or not. Nate didn't say he renounced meat for moral issues, but because they make him nauseous. I was just wondering if eggs have the same effect. And yea. I've read about low-carbing. I even tried it, but then my mom bullied me out of it cos she thinks its unhealthy <.< I actually liked doing low-carb cos I had a regime to stick to and it strengthened my will and my strength to resist temptations(bad food and sugary yummies). I may try again, cos jesus, Im starting to get lost again in temptation land X( |
