It's not that hard to grasp. It's just trial and error. Lots of trial and error.

Wow this actually pretty amazing. I can see some missteps in that video but most of the play seems to be flawless.

I'd find it more interesting to watch a video of him playing an area he's not obviously very familiar with.

An incredible feat, that makes an Oddworld fan like me very happy. Terry Garrett, a 23 year-old mechanical engineering student from Colorado Springs, has beaten this title by using only his sense of hearing. Pretty inspirational. The sound design team should also take a bow.

The folks over at Oddworld.com host a very extensive interview with Garrett, who gives an explanation on how he has accomplished this amazing task. Check out the video below, if you haven't already. It's an interesting watch. It makes you realise just how great the advanced sound design is on these Abe games.
