Yes! I will finally be able to play Munch and Stranger!

NovaMan 12-09-2010 09:26 AM

I have never played Munch and Stranger.

Can't imagine how the platforming parts are going to work, though. I think I'm going to stick to playing this with a controller.

It's funny, I always found platformers much easier with mouselook. Then again, I was pretty much born with a keyboard under my forearms.

AvengingGibbons 12-09-2010 09:35 AM

Just to let you know, you can make your PS3 controller work with a computer, but it's not got official support.. http://www.gamefront.com/how-to-use-...oller-on-a-pc/

Please let us know if there is more up-to-date software for doing this, becuase when I tried this, it was annoying having to disable driver signing every time I booted Windows :/

EDIT: You can use an Xbox360 controller with a computer too, but I've never tried it.

lismati 12-09-2010 10:09 AM

You can use WiiMote with a PC if you want. (Just play with GlovePie)

It's pretty cool. Haven't had a chance to test it on more than 2D platformers, though - my laptop isn't powerful enough for more computer-intensive games.

brechtos 12-09-2010 12:10 PM

Yaaaaaay:)
Strange that they did not wait for the SW remake to get finished. But hey in the meantime the original will get some nice lovin:)

ooooh, I have to try this one.

With a little bit of soldering (or, if you're not feeling adventurous, the purchase of a dongle), you can even use the original Xbox controller on a PC.

Fix'd

Jango 12-10-2010 07:08 AM

Will there be achievements on it too? If so, I'm definitely going to buy it. :)

Wil 12-10-2010 07:16 AM

There will be achievements for MO and SW, not AO or AE.

Hmm. Ok, thanks. I'm not sure whether I will buy it in that case. How much will it cost? (in £ of course).

Wil 12-10-2010 07:22 AM

Unknown.

How come there isn't going to be Achievements for AO and AE? didn't they say that they would be?

Manco 12-10-2010 01:37 PM

They did, but then they found out how incredibly difficult it was to add new things to AO and AE.

Or something like that.

Thanks for the heads up! This has been reported on OddBlog.

Jordan 12-12-2010 03:23 PM

£15 is actually awesome!

Viper45 12-12-2010 09:04 PM

Wow, $24.99 is an amazing price. I sure hope they release this before December 20th. The 20th is the begining of Steam's huge holiday sale where they usually put nearly everything in their store on discount. The sale will most likely run through New Years. If the Oddbox is released during that sale, I think it could be easily overlooked and lose many of its initial sales.

A special holiday gift? Whoopee!

It doesn't look like it's much cheaper for those who bought AO & AE earlier :<

STM 12-14-2010 11:32 AM
