Yup, of course, but joining twitter allows you to be immediately aware of a tweet made by Abe or Alf, and that's something I quite like :D. It also allows you to have only one stream with all the tweets of the guys you follow, so you don't have to manually go on each page to check if something new has been posted.

I just have their twitter accounts as tabs, along with oddworld.com and oddmobb.com

Is to tag your twit with the tag #somethingsomething, so people can click on the tag and find out who else is talking about #somethingsomething.
