If they are going back to the quintology then I know Abe will be in every one and thats a fact. Just go to OWI history and read through it. It talks about the quintology and how each game will introduce a new hero ending with five main heros together in the big city. Its states each game of the quintology introduces a new hero with a new problem that will join coexisting heros Abe, Munch, etc etc.
I can't imagine what it would be like to control five characters in a video game. That would be interesting. |
It'd make for unique puzzles. The potential is exciting.

Speak for yourself, I want to see new characters that aren't supported by Abe, Munch didn't feel like a new hero, just a sidekick to Abe, at least, that's how I felt while playing
|
:
I think that if the Quintology continues with more heroes being introduced, OWI would hopefully learn from MO's flaws and give each character more use in levels, and balance them out a little better. wow that was a lot of words |

I don't want to see too many new characters, otherwise it's going to turn into mordern sonic games with a shitload more characters than they know what to do with.
Abe is the main man, you take him out of the picture and you've taken away the face of oddworld. |
So you say that Stranger sucks because Abe's not in ?
|
Yes, thanks, that you said that for me.
|
Your joking right? You would do Abe to death, you need to open your mind up a bit

Chrematophobia! That's why they haven't released a game for a while. But I doubt it, I think I remember a cartoon of Lorne rubbing money on himself? Do you guys know what I'm talking about? I think it was a Penny Arcade strip. Oh and more characters to play as wouldn't necessarily be good. So I'm not excited until I actually see a trailer at least. Maybe since their last character Strange, was very physically strong, they might stray away from that and make something more puzzle oriented again. What if there was a character who had no arms, and they picked up everything with their mouth? Maybe it will star the siamese twins on the art book cover.
|
:
Highly Anticipated! (the one you remember, I think); and Try Our Meef Quesarito I'm not sure Penny Arcade likes Lorne much. |
Wait Ziggy could be on to something, maybe their not twins but one is a parasite living off a host, wasn't squeek going to be a parasitic creature?
|
I know Lorne didn't like Penny Arcade much for those.
|
Heh, he's no fun! =D
|
I didn't think either of them were funny.
|
I thought the second one was pretty funny.
|
Why is his hat made of money?
|
Ask Lorne.
|
Because otherwise there'd be no such term as "money hat", which—as I understand it—came about because of something OddHunter forgot:
It Is Also Called "Moolah" |
THAT was the one I was thinking of!
|
:
Also if I'm remembering correctly, Lorne actually does own a money hat. |
:
By the way I would like to see a ME with Munch sole main charakter otherwise he will stay forever Abe's shadow. And maybe rasurrecting the concept of giving Munch Jakil-Hide trasformation in order to balance Abe's Shrykull powers. |
I agree, seeing Much go Roid would be cool
|
:
|
:
Maybe this is the reason he keeps changing platforms(PS-Xbox-PC-DS)? |
Asmoden! It is good to see that I'm not the only one who wants the Shrykull back!
Good stuff, I completely agree. I mean, why leave the tattoos on his hands if he can't harness their powers? |
They should make Hand of Odd instead. I'm still yearning for that game.
Of course, the point is moot, since we will most probably get neither, but something new from Oddworld altogether. |
I think it would be wise for OWI to do a remake of MO, without Microsoft's time constraints. With all the stuff Lorne wanted to put in, and fix the flaws of the game. I think they should then sell them though both Digital Distribution and retail. Stranger's wrath felt finished and polished, Munch's Oddysee didn't.
