While I understand the reasoning behind this, there's just no way this kind of censorship should be allowed. I'm 19, 4'9, and look a lot younger than I really am; if it was my everlasting dream to become a porn star, my photos would be illegal? This is discriminating models for features beyond their control. If the problem with child pornography is that the model is a child who should never be subjected to such a thing, what's the problem with an adult model that looks young?

We should probably get a look at what you have to offer instead of speculating on whether you would look old enough or not.

Who's the creepiest person in the room? Me!

MeechMunchie 01-29-2010 08:48 AM

What about a man with massive breasts? That's the issue everyone's ignoring here.

I really, really don't get it. Small breasted women don't usually look underaged, even though they are flat chested.

dude i am a virgin , i don't love her i just think she's cute , and i will always be a virgin till i get married , no sex before that.

You'll never get married with that attitude.
Just don't try to eat her, mmkay?

abe is now! 01-29-2010 12:21 PM

It's unfair, if a girl is 18 why the hell couldn't she make porn just because she looks younger? I'd like to know what they were thinking about when they made this rule.

abe619 01-29-2010 01:14 PM

i only posted that girl i know because like used:) said , it would be funny if it back fires , she didn't make it into porn of course , but look at those , and don't worry , i won't eat her , i hope she does....:p

Sekto Springs 01-29-2010 02:26 PM

It's really the principle of the thing that's outrageous. Just because it's against the law, doesn't mean Aussies won't still find the porn and spank to it. Half the greatest porn out there is "barely legal" anyway ;)

Australian law states that even drawn pictures that depict an underage person having sex is illegal, not just photographs.

What the fuck?

Pilot 01-29-2010 02:43 PM

OMG, this looks like I guy I actually know. Every time I would call him John Candy he would say, "I'm gonna kick your ASS" and I'd say, "You're gonna have to catch me first. :)"

We're still good friends.

:

By this logic, can't someone just draw a quick sideways figure 8 containing two dots over the chest of the alleged underage girl to make the depiction acceptable?

Shit...does that mean Australia has banned American Beauty? Fuck those guys.

Nah, that movie is only MA15+ rated. This only applies to real sexual situations.

:

Your country is a hell of a lot more conservative than I originally thought it was.

It's one of those things; almost everyone I would meet on the street would agree that this law is stupid. It's just that the politicians compete over who can be more moral and SAVE THE CHILDREN and no-one is prepared to call them out on their bullshit because they don't want to be labeled as promoting paedophilia.

What the fuck?

I think the logic was that they don't want to support any activity that psychologically enables paedophiles to get off, whether a child is harmed or note.

Taco 01-29-2010 04:57 PM

Wouldn't it be more logical to let paedo's to get off to something that didn't harm a child whatsoever instead of banning everything? I mean, paedophiles with nothing to get off to would just be more compelled to start looking for little girls which causes even more damage. It seems like such an absolute waste of time.

Havoc 01-29-2010 05:03 PM

You'd think that any legal company selling pictures of models can provide a picture ID of the person to prove they are 18+. In fact, I believe that's required by law for just about any modeling agency, not just adult ones.

Yes, but attempting to control people doesn't solve the issue, it merely sweeps it under the rug.

My opinion. They'd have to check, as the penalties would be huge.

The worry might be that if you allow one thing, it might lead to the other. Like anti-drug campaigners who claim that marijuana is a gateway drug to harder things.

But it's not about the risk that the person might be underage, it's the risk that a paedophile might, potentially, possibly act as if the person is underage.

like looking at a picture of a pizza, is likely to lead to wanting a pizza, but pizzaphiles aren't in the news as much,

Wait, if they ban porn because the actors look underage, does that make twink porn illegal?

But it's not about the risk that the person might be underage, it's the risk that a paedophile might, potentially, possibly act as if the person is underage.

So the government wants to give fines to companies who sell/buy perfectly legal pictures, including a picture ID proving the model is older than 18, just because some pedo might come along and THINK they are underage? Since when can you punish person a for the thoughts of person b? That doesn't make any fucking sense. I can't believe that's even legal?

abe619 01-30-2010 05:21 AM

believe it or not this is the new world , and in right here in Egypt even more bizarre things are happening , now , if someone in Suez catch the bird flu (yeah we still have it and H1N1) , he is instantly transported to court , with three charges:
1- that he threatened his own life
2- that he threatened the children who live around
3- that he has chicken in his home

scaryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MA 01-30-2010 05:49 AM

having a chicken is an offence?

i got the gist of it, i'm just being a wanker.

yes it is against the law because of the fuckin' bird flu.

MA 01-30-2010 07:57 AM

calm down dear, its only an epidemic.

looney-bin 01-30-2010 09:42 AM

"Take a look at de facking game! It looks like a facking... Cholit chip cookie!"

Anyway, Australia is really getting out of hand. Personally, I like medium sized breasts, and even I think this new law is stupid. Some women can't help having small breasts, and this law isolates them.

MeechMunchie 01-30-2010 09:46 AM

Why did the chicken cross the road?
To start a pandemic and kill everybody!
