อักษรไทย - Yup, that's definately Thai. My point being the ambiguity in the word 'recognise'. You've essentially rendered your statement meaningless. |
I KNOW THE DIFFERENT LETTERS OF THE HEBREW ALPHABET FROM EACH OTHER AND CAN ASSIGN EACH OF THEM AS A SYMBOLIC REPRESENTATION OF A PARTICULAR PHONEME (OR LACK OF WITH THE ALEPH SYMBOL).
Okay, that's what I was goddamn asking.
Just English. :c

Anyway, ese chiste sobre Italiano y Castellano no era gracioso antes y no es gracioso ahora. Entonces, no sigas tratando, coño. I want to learn Italian because it's like Spanish but sounds prettier. None of that Arabic crap, I think. Che ne dici, Fabio? |
I find any languages that are spoken outside of the western hemisphere, even if they're the same language, sound better.
I dislike the sound of Arabic, but love the sound of Hebrew. I'm such a Zionist.
My mom converted to Judaism not six months ago and she's in the process of learning Hebrew. I'm picking up little tidbits of it here and there, but I don't think it's a language I'd dedicate my time to learning in full.
I also can understand and speak (this a little) two italian dialects: Piedmontese and Venetian.
can you speak Vatican?
:
1ST:- Arabic (Egyptian accent)
2ND:- English (American accent only (i hate the European accent)) |

I speak three languages. English obviously, which isn't technically my first, but I like to think it is. Second is danish, which is a horrendous language with so many things you just have to know and can't really learn or use rules for. Thirdly is german, which I like, but can only speak a bit of. I do speak about twenty words of spanish and maybe seven in italien.

Well, I'm the only Russian speaker that's actually voted so far :D
I also speak rather poor French (it will improve with time and study, I suppose) and equally rather poor Dutch. The only thing I can say for myself is that I can read rather easily in both languages, but speaking is a different matter. If I were not bogged down with other concerns, I'd definitely be learning Finnish (an amazingly sexy language, IMO), as well as Arabic, Hindi, and Hebrew, but there are only so many hours in a day, I'm going to have to save these ambitious linguistic pursuits for a later time. |
I thought about learning Finnish not too long ago. Beautiful-sounding language indeed.
I recommend Rosetta Stone to anyone wanting to learn a language in their spare time who can't be arsed to shill for lessons.
Naturally, I'm telling you to pirate it as the software is like $600. |
btw , for ppl trying to learn arabic , i remember sometime ago , i found some vids for learning arabic in the egyptian accent on youtube.
oh i fogot i can speak a litte bit of gaelic irish - tioch fair ar'la: Our Day Will Come
Hungarian as native language, then English (also studying English at university), and German, of which I'm attempting to do an intermediate language exam soon, it's needed for future studies. Also got acquainted with Latin through the first three years in high school (can't say I could use it in speech, but I remember a number of proverbs), and with Old English last term.

Then again, is there a 'worst insult' in English? Kinda subjective, I think. |
