Yup, the Cube has Link, PS2 has Heihachi Mishima and Xbox has Spawn.

I really have to think about this, just because if I'm to put all my favorites in numerical order there has to be a "Number 1". So, in ascending order:
10. Spy v Spy (NES) 9. Ocarina of Time (N64) 8. A Link to the Past (SNES) 7. Original Zelda (NES) 6. StarTropics (NES) 5. Adventures of Lolo 1,2,3 (NES) 4. San Fransisco Rush (N64) 3. Ironman Ivan Stewart's Super Off Road (Arcade) 2. Sonic the Hedgehog series (Genesis/Megadrive) 1. Oddworld AO and AE. Okay that was easy. I have good memories of my dad and I ALWAYS playing the Off Road challenge when we went minigolfing. Good times. I'd get up there and spin the crap out of the steering wheels to try to stay on the track. Yeah, you can call me a Fart. You're just lucky I don't also come out with Poop. Thank you for making this thread. :) |
Well after a few hours of playing Bayonetta I can successfully kick Golden Sun 1 off the list.
Breakdancing on the side of a building yay |

Your number one game is Brutal Legend? Really?
|

That was hilarious. Anyway: 10) Hitman: Blood Money 9) Killer 7 8) No More Heroes 7) Team Fortress 2 6) Borderlands 5) Oblivion 4) Shadow Of The Colossus 3) Dungeon Keeper 2 2) All the Dawn Of Wars (including 2, despite being different) 1) Half Life 2 (and all the episodes) |
Oh yeah, Hitman should have been on my list somewhere, it'd be BM or SA, BM has a better story and gameplay, but in SA you can be a ninja!

That was the first thing that came into my head when I read that. A countdown of ten really isn't enough for me with such a vast amount of games to choose from. Other games I would have liked to put on my list are: FF8 (PS), Harvest Moon FOMT (GBA), Super Mario World (Snes), Splat the Cat (PC), Conker Live and Reloaded (Xbox). |
In no particular order...
Half-Life 2 & Episodes 1 & 2 I don't usually like shooting games, but HL2 is different. The story and visuals are amazing to me, and the Gravity gun is so much fun to use. I don't know what it is about this game, but I love it. Final Fantasy VII It was the first Final Fantasy I ever played, and it's my favourite to this day. Awesome story, music and battle system. I just wish I played it more often. Breath of Fire III I think this might have been my first RPG, I'm not sure. I absolutely love this, everything about it screams epic. It may not be much, but it's one of my favourite games of all time. It's a shame they didn't do more than just a port with the PSP version, it would have been nice for extra things, like side quests and minor character development, oh, and more endings. That hardly bothers me though. Portal Ahh... Portal. It's so much fun, and some parts in it are hilarious. It sounds silly but I think I like the actual puzzle solving less than actually escaping from the place/getting to the last area. I wish they'd have made that part longer. But yeah, it's bags of fun. Tales of Symphonia I find ToS really fun, but the storyline is kind of wank. But it does pick up eventually. With all the new techs and characters, the battle system never seems to get old. Oh yeah, and the music. I love the music a lot, the battle themes get you so hyped up. Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus Had to have an Oddworld game on here. I get loads of nostalgia whenever I play it. Still, to this day I sit in awe at how pretty everything looks, mainly the level backgrounds. I don't play it much, but when I do, I enjoy it. Quiksave gets the best of me. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time The game is an absolute masterpiece, the story, gameplay, music, dungeon design etc. I would gladly play it multiple times in a row. I can't really find a fault with it, however, Young Link ought to have more screen time, the game was more fun as him IMO. Sonic 3 & Knuckles S3K might just be my oldest favourite game. It has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard, and its the longest classic Sonic game, that being a bonus of course. I like to play it every now and then, but it never takes me as long as it used to, though. :( Chrono Trigger I love Chrono Trigger. I think I could say I prefer the story to anything else. I've mentioned it before, but I'm keen on apocalyptic events. (Fiction obviously, it would be sick if I found thrill in them in real life.) Also, the music is win. The battle system... eh, not too great but it's pretty fun. Tomb Raider 3 My first/most played Tomb Raider game from when I was a kid. Best music, locations and voice actress for Lara out of all the Tomb Raider games. People dislike it because it doesn't have many tombs, but I don't care. The levels are still great and can be explored, who cares if they're not dull tombs? |

These aren't exactly my all-time favourites. I based them on how good they where for their time.
10. Yager. Sort of a mysterious game, as I can’t find much about it on the web, still very fun all the same. 9. Team Fortess 2. However shit I might be at it, I love it because it’s not too serious. 8. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion An epic story. Heaps of stuff to do to stop you getting bored. Unfortuneatly I keep wanting to start over! 7. Tropico 3. A bit repetitive after awhile, but those first golden moments of it are immensely enjoyable! 6. Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus. For their time, they where some of the most addictive games on the market. 5. Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings. I was only introduced to this game because I got AOE1 out of a Nutri-Grain packet. I found it very fun, even though I was to young to play properly and everyone seemed to have it at school. 4. Timesplitters 2. TS3 wasn’t so bad but nothing compared to this. I love it for the same reason I love TF2. My favourite shooter of the time! 3. The Kingdom of Loathing. Very addicting. Lot's of humour and minimal lifeless-nerds. 2. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I loved SA, but lost faith in the GTA series after they fucked up GTA4. 1. Age of Mythology. With the RTS genre; it appears the game you deeply involve your self with first will become your all time favourite. I had actually played AOE2 before this, but was to young to understand it, and play it properly |
10: AO
9: AE 8: Final Fantasy 7 7: Resident Evil 6: Silent Hill (1) 5: Shadow of the Colossus 4: Modern Warfare 2 3: The Conduit 2: Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days 1: Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (If you are a SH fan and have not played this, you can not be called a fan.) |
:
Hmm, it appears that TS4 is a PS3 exclusive. Fuck fuck fuckidy fucking fuck. |
oh shit, i totally forgot about timesplitters, fucking love that series, no idea why it isn't backwards compatible on 360
