It was 40°C here on Wednesday.

You have fucking summer in the middle of december, you people are clearly insane.

Taco 12-19-2009 02:42 AM

Melbourne weather is just retarded

Josh 12-19-2009 02:57 AM

3 seconds of snow, an eternity of cold and rain. I hate Cornwall.

+67F not -67F ;)

It's 19,4 °C... forgive my slip! But why do you use °F?? It's more difficult than using °C to orient oneself with temperatures in my opinion. For example, water freezes at 0°C, wich is 32°F... I think it's easier to remember that it freezes at 0°C!

Taco 12-19-2009 03:19 AM

I agree celsius is a lot easier... but at least no one here's gonna take it as far as talking in Kelvins

The only thing I like about °K is that 0°K is the absolute zero (-273,15 °C).

MeechMunchie 12-19-2009 07:02 AM

Light snow yesterday, massive freak snow in the spring this year.

Why would you run away from a snowball fight? Ponce.

Because in Denmark, people try to kill you with snow and don't do too bad, considering.

Same up here, it tried to snow earlier but failed miserably. We've had enough ice though, my arse is covered in bruises from falling on the pavement.

Where is this terrible cold place?

Dryadri 12-19-2009 01:25 PM

The beauty of the north west of England.

Not, it's the worst place to live, every other person is either an emo or a chav...or old.

Wings of Fire 12-19-2009 01:41 PM

I slid to the shops today to get my groceries, and walked very carefully back. My windows have also amassed a large amount of condensation in the two days since I cleaned them last.

Sekto Springs 12-19-2009 02:47 PM

Finally snowed here. A substantial amount too (4-6 inches at least). Nice.

Jordan 12-19-2009 04:06 PM

It snowed some more tonight, quite heavily. Some settled and then it all stopped. We have the lamest weather ever.

Disgruntled Intern 12-19-2009 06:28 PM

Five minutes of snow, hours of rain.

Also, my Nigerian coworker told me today that he 'hates the wind'. He seemed quite upset.

Tomorrow I went with some friends in a snow-covered football ground and we played for an hour; when the temperature reached -6°C we went home... we were wet through, it's a miracle I'm sane today!
Yes, Italy is cold in these days. It's a true winter.

looney-bin 12-20-2009 12:21 AM

I'm glad we've finally got a white Christmas in the UK after such a long time. Finally the festive cards match the weather outside.

Havoc 12-20-2009 03:55 AM

Snow has officially crippled my country. Soccer matches have been suspended because of either frozen playing fields or because it's to dangerous for the public to hit the road right now. Trains are barely running and driving a car is equal to suicide as you can't even see the road anymore.

Glad I have vacation and the internet still works.

STM 12-20-2009 03:58 AM

I never fall over in the winter for some reason, ice doesn't effect meh! Hate snow though really, don't mind the odd sprinkling and stopping work kind but not what we have usually in this country.

This made me laugh. I'm not sure if I'm a horrible person or not.

EDIT: Yeah we have fucking tons of snow here. Haven't fallen over in it though so go suck a dick gravity.

That's just it. When he told me, I laughed so hard I almost cried.

Wil 12-20-2009 05:44 AM

There's more snow down here in Norwich than we had up in Sheffield. I couldn't see what flowers had been left by my dad's grave, they were covered in iced-up snow. Someone had also put a couple of solar-powered lawn lights there.

What? Explain..

they throw rectangular snowballs at you.

get it? rectangular. the same rectangles they use to make those things people live in.

it was incredibly icy on the walk home last night/this morning. i'm so proud i never fell over once. snowed for a few minutes Thursday, that was it. no snow since, bit of rain. now back to Colin for the news where you are.

Bullet Magnet 12-20-2009 07:46 AM

This is insane. Snow, December, Britain? The fuck?

Rex Tirano 12-20-2009 07:53 AM

It's the same as that up in the North East of the UK. So much snow that I'm snowed in to my tiny village of 50 people.

Yay.

There's not that much actual snow in Glasgow :( hopefully it'll be better once I get back to England.

Also BM's hair now has a life of it's own.

MA 12-20-2009 08:00 AM

BM has a bionic hand.

or some rare strain of fluorescent frostbite.

OddjobAbe 12-20-2009 08:43 AM

We've seen hell of a lot of snow (to say it's England, anyway) today. I almost got stuck on the drive when I tried to park. It's been very icy. I didn't care for it. My nephew's loving it, though.

Wil 12-20-2009 10:27 AM

As in, the city where I live and it goes snowy the day after I leave. Well. Screw the north, and all its "cobs", "mardiness", and mis-pronounced words ending "-ass".
