Do they not watch the frakking news?

My sister has gotten like 8 Text Messages telling her.

So:
David Carryadime

Ferrari Faucet

Ed Mcmaddam

and now Mickey Blackskin

Someone's picking off B-list celebrities.

Yeah. Daytime tv here is like the day Princess Diana died.

Most of you are probably too young to remember that day

Anonyman! 06-25-2009 07:45 PM

It's obviously a conspiracy of some sort. My money's on a cult of assassins. The same guys who killed Bruce and Brandon Lee.

YOU KNOW WHOS NEXT
JEFF GOLDBLUM
WE MUST STOP THEM BEFORE THEY KILL JEFF GOLDBLUM

Nate 06-25-2009 07:47 PM

Are they the same group who killed Diana and Mother Theresa in the same week?

Wings of Fire 06-25-2009 07:52 PM

I remember what I was doing the moment I saw the news of Diana's death, it was one of those flashbulb memories that get embedded in your mind forever, like 9/11.

I doubt this will be as memorable.

Strike Witch 06-25-2009 08:02 PM

It's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight, you see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes
You're paralyzed

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
And no one's gonna save you from the beast about strike
You know it's thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight

You hear the door slam and realize there's nowhere left to run
You feel the cold hand and wonder if you'll ever see the sun
You close your eyes and hope that this is just imagination, girl!
But all the while you hear the creature creeping up behind
You're out of time

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
There ain't no second chance against the thing with forty eyes, girl
Thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight

Night creatures calling, the dead start to walk in their masquerade
There's no escaping the jaws of the alien this time
(They're open wide)
This is the end of your life

They're out to get you, there's demons closing in on every side
They will possess you unless you change that number on your dial
Now is the time for you and I to cuddle close together, yeah
All through the night I'll save you from the terror on the screen
I'll make you see

That this is thriller, thriller night
'Cause I can thrill you more than any ghost would ever dare try
Thriller, thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a
Killer, diller, chiller, thriller here tonight

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
Girl, I can thrill you more than any ghost would ever dare try
Thriller, thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller, ow!

(I'm gonna thrill ya tonight)
Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'alls neighborhood

I'm gonna thrill ya tonight, ooh baby
I'm gonna thrill ya tonight, oh darlin'
Thriller night, baby, ooh!

The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom

And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller

So do I. I was learning of the existance of Princess Diana.

Funny. The first time I had ever heard of Al-Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden, and Afghanistan was during the aftermath of 9/11.

bobtheguy 06-25-2009 09:01 PM

Who cares, he was a freak, and he abused children, by inviting them to his ranch and smoking pot with them.

I remember Diana mainly because it was the second time I went to what became my regular youth group and we had a party at Lauren's house.

Today is going to be memorable for me, though not for Wacko Jacko.

Yay! A niece!

Anonyman! 06-25-2009 09:14 PM

You know, I don't remember where I was on any of these events.

I was on 4chan for MJ...

Fuck.

Leto 06-25-2009 10:03 PM

indeed the internet was glorious for mj hilarity around 6 hours ago.

literally, glorious is the only word.

Goodbye MJ, you will be missed. You jinxed yourself by calling your final tour: This Is It.

Well, it may be bit before your (and to be perfectly honest, my) time, but Micheal Jackson was quite a talented Musician at one point in his life (it was more of a hobby for him, really), but some people still remember his music.

Of course an insensitive dumb cunt like you spitting out 'hurr durr Em Jay's a pedo' comments to sound clever (but looking like, well, a dumb cunt) kind of detract from it.

Now, much as I love to cling to goût douteuxesque comments, I can't help but feel you don't have a very solid grasp on who Micheal Jackson was apart from some rather horrid news over the past few years about him regarding child abuse and his general weird fuckerevity. However, if you'd kindly shut the fuck up for a second, you might hear some people giving him a moment of silence since he was, as previously stated, in the midst of taking a final stab at the music game, as well as the aforementioned fans of his career prior to your uncalled-for conception who still happened to enjoy his music.

"If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and then make a change." - Man in the Mirror, by Michael Jackson.

This man has lead an incredible life. He has done many great things and will be forever loved by many. RIP

OddjobAbe 06-26-2009 12:35 AM

That sounded like a Youtube comment.

I'm not really affected so much, but I'm not as over-the-moon as I thought I'd be. I wonder how many people will say "FUK MIKAYEL JAKZON JOWK HOW DARE YOU HES DEAD!!" whenever anyone makes a joke about him?

I was just commenting on the kids' lack of contribution and throwing around some delicious NEW AUGH FUCK THERE ARE BUGS EVERYWHERE

Leto 06-26-2009 12:40 AM

omfg lol it did sound just like a youtube comment, akin to the Scatman John styled "U'LL B SCATTIN IN HEAVEN" comments

Laser 06-26-2009 01:08 AM

Shame.

He is one of the truly great artists ever, along with peeps like the beatles and Elvis Presly.

See... this is where you don't understand that your opinion differs from others. You might believe that he's a pervert and everything, but there are people who don't believe that and are still his fans. He'll be missed because he was a musical legend, I guess.

Eh... There's always one person commenting out of the blue how much of a pervert/kiddy-fiddler he was, in a thread that discusses his death. It's kind of obvious everyone was shocked by it, and for all you know there could be someone on this forum that really liked him, and your comment doesn't help things.

The BBC had a nice summary of his life this morning. A very brief mention of his musical career, then deciding mainly to focus on child abuse allegations. =/

Mac Sirloin 06-26-2009 06:52 AM

Oh, what a bunch of dicks.

used:) 06-26-2009 08:10 AM

It's a shame that all of his accomplishments and good attributes are only being recognized now that he's dead. Before, any mention of him would have provoked the usual "EWW, PEDO!"

He was never officially convicted and several people used him and the allegations for their own agendas.

EDIT: I just found out he was 400 million dollars in debt. He really needed those concerts.

When you die, I'm going to say the same thing.

MeechMunchie 06-26-2009 01:27 PM

See, this is slightly unsettling. He released the bestselling album of all time, he spent the majority of his life under public scrutiny, but yet, now he's gone, nobody really cares. I mean, it's disappointing for everybody, but there aren't leigons of mourning fans...yet.

Havoc 06-26-2009 01:30 PM

There are over here. There was a MJ fan meet somewhere and everyone was crying and stuff.

SpAM_CAN 06-26-2009 01:57 PM

MJ was a brilliant Musician, and Dancer. I also like the fact that he did the Sonic 3 Soundtrack :)
