I don't think OWF should have to convince members to join. I mean, if they need convincing, that means they weren't really sure about joining. If they're not really sure about being part of the community, do we really want them to be? I'd rather have fewer, happier members, than a mass of silent or unconstructive ones. Or is the question, is my opinion actually relevant?

Although I see nothing wrong with being a little pedantic - to correct folk is a good thing. It may sometimes seem irritating and unnecessary, but at the end, someone has learnt something, which I believe is a good thing.

joshkrz: Seeing as your english skills are otherwise quite good, it appears to me that you are not crap at grammar, you're just lazy about it. It's not that difficult to capitalise the first letter of the sentence and the word 'I', or to use apostrophes where needed.

We care a lot about grammar in this forum. It is very important to make posts readable and to stop threads degenerating in to horrible spamminess. Unrepentant poor grammar is an infractible offence. Just letting you know.
