could you tell me the controls, because when i get the the hole at the end i don't know what to press, wheres the barrel ride aswell?

if you press f1 during gameplay the in game controls will show up and at the end of some levels if you cant fnd the way out you have to jump down ill make some sign sprites

Put some LCDs in there if you can, plus the barrel ride is a good way to change gameplay. Its a great idea, but im not sure about the music.

What do you do with the Mug?

do you mean mud you have to rescue them but i am going to make my own portal sprites based of the origanals and as a request lcd screens

The sligs must have powerful eyes in the back of their head, because when your more than a centimeter ahead of them, they can't see you, wheras behind them, they can see you from about 4 centimeters. You don't have nearly enough ducking time to get through without going into negative.:D

can I take you guys up on that too? I just downloaded gamemaker and know almost nothing about it, but I will have probably made a decent game by christmas.... although at the moment I am so unexperienced that I think making a pacman game is hard.

and about rushing it, beleave me, you and BTG are fine, your ahead of my game, and i started about 2 weeks ago.

If we really were having this contest you would still be ahead of me, even though youv'e only made 2 stages, I have only made .0001 of a stage and haven't put in the sprites yet :D

Personally I believe that Gamemaker is awful, and is probably the worst possible coding language anyone can choose. I can almost guarantee that my game will look the nicest, especially if I'm making mine in Adobe Flash. Xmas 2009 is still very far away into the future... we're talking 6 months!

Anyway, I wish everyone the best of luck. The important thing is not to give up. Keep doing your best no matter what!
