I'm a little confused. How can the pockets be lower than the legline?

Do you mean knee-line? Do you mean the cut-off point of the jeans? Do you mean the pockets hang lower than the cut-off point of the jeans which takes a person that is ridiculously beyond any sort of psychiatric help to cope with the humiliation that would ensue?

Alcar...

I like purple clothes.

Just when I think you can't get gayer... you admit to wearing cutoffs. Please tell me you don't do that thing where you cut them off so short that the pockets are visible below the legline.

Oh GOD no! I think that's just tasteless really. As you've found with your jeans, usually the knees wear out in them so I cut them off just above the knee and wear em like that.

Hell, at this pace I'll bet you thought I was cutting the ass cheeks out on them too? O_O

Wil 01-09-2009 08:30 AM

Aha, that’s what I can do with my hole-in-knee jeans!

Thanks, guys!

Pilot 01-09-2009 08:32 AM

Okay, THAT was unnecessary. Remove now please.

That's just..... poor, but well demonstrated. Now we can all forget about his wrinkly rotund ass and get back to serious business.

fucking love cheap monday jeans. so comfortable.

http://www.normlclothing.ca/wp-conte...eap-monday.jpg

Bwahah! My roommate wears those exact jeans. Tee hee.

I myself quite like wearin' lady pants. In fact, this summer my friend Catherine gave me about 4 pairs of pants that are all super tight. I had to cut them off and turn 'em into shorts, of course, but, I have a fair few skinny pants as well. That's about as far as I go in terms of girls clothes, although for the record I do like wearing makeup, even if it doesn't look good on me.

Leto 01-09-2009 11:18 AM

@purple clothes: yes, they are nice, you hideous shameless fags. I used to wear purple skinnyjengs a lot, but they were really, really gay. uncontrollably so. nowadays this pair would be nice though: http://www.tobi.com/color_image/men_main_image/18774

Leto! What kind of straight-gay-straight are you?! Those jeans aren't hugging your ass at all.

Alcar...

I like me some baggy skinny jeans, though a few pairs I have are ass huggers.

for the record, that isn't my ass :P

I like wearing a winter scarf over my t-shirts. The combination is completely impractical in all weather and environments, but damn, I love that scarf.

OANST 01-09-2009 12:35 PM

I dislike making any attempts at a look which usually creates a look all it's own. It's called middle aged.

Hobo 01-09-2009 12:39 PM

27 != Middle aged.

Unless your point is you act like someone of middle age.

That sounds about right.

OANST 01-09-2009 12:48 PM

Just that my clothing choices are evocative of middle age.

Something in the back of my head is telling me this is a style started in Sheffield. Maybe Arctic Monkeys–related? I dunno.

Bullet Magnet 01-09-2009 02:52 PM

Now you've got the image of white-haired semi-aquatic baboons fleeing from polar bears stuck in my head.

I am neither aware of nor follow any trends except by coincidence.

Nate 01-09-2009 02:56 PM

What is *with* skinny leg jeans. The other day I saw a pair of jeans that looked great on the hanger - interesting stitching, nice colour - tried them one and they looked atrocious. I mean, even aside from the fact that my legs are kinda chunky, skinny leg jeans just don't look good on anyone.

I did the jeans cut-off thing nate is talking about once.

I wore it until I saw myself in a mirrior. Which was about an hour later.

Oh god. Please give us photos of that. I need a good larf

Oh, have I related my 'arseless chaps' story here before?

Facsimile 01-09-2009 04:17 PM

Clothes are so boring. I think I've bought one item in my whole life, a dress shirt because I needed a black one for a performance.

Thankfully my mum realises that I would never buy any new stuff if she didn't, so she does.
I don't care how old I am.

Bullet Magnet 01-09-2009 04:37 PM

Similarly, I enjoy getting clothes for Christmas for the very same reason. Plus, I hate doing laundry, so it tides me over.

Wil 01-09-2009 04:47 PM

I used to hate clothes shopping, but now I wouldn’t let my family buy me things I hadn’t given my approval for.

I defy you! They may be painfully trendy, but I'll be goddamned if tight pants aren't the shit.

Leto 01-09-2009 07:07 PM

Word, Matt.

used:) 01-10-2009 01:04 AM

Money being as absent as it is from my pockets, I don't go clothes shopping very often and just wear what I either get as presents or whatever my mom gets me occasionally. I hate jean shopping. It's rare that I find something that's comfrtable and looks good, but I love the denim.

Pilot 01-10-2009 11:02 AM

Unfortunate as it is, I can't go pants shopping at thrift stores, but the closet full of hawaiian shirts that is my wardrobe consists mainly of those that came from thrift stores. Here on the west coast the shops are rife with them.

Kimon 01-10-2009 01:22 PM

I actually never used to care about my clothes either, and just wore what my Mom bought me. I decided not to give a shit about my appearance based on some absurd notion that vanity is immoral. Then I stopped going to an all boys school and realized that cute girls don't tend to like slobs.

Enter fashion.

Leto 01-10-2009 01:41 PM

Similar things over here. You just start to give a shit after a while.

Jeans are now awesome.

Are you just trying to annoy me?

Anonyman! 01-11-2009 03:23 PM

Who posted that? Ghost?

Yeah, she's totally stepping on your balls.

Strike Witch 01-11-2009 03:50 PM

Yeah, your balls are the only ones step-onable, all the other's balls here are in someone's mouth.

Don't you? I mean, really.

No. I just.... don't.

As Peter Griffin from Family Guy put it similarly once, In real life I'm more one of those 'maybe he's gay and maybe he's not' polite gay guys, not one of those 'OH MY GOD' prancing around gay guys.

And even though I think that picture looks terrible, I do have to hand it to him for being himself and not caring.

OANST, don't make me photoshop you into a pair of short cutoff Chic jeans, Okay? Or even worse, a pair of assless chaps. Getting the cheek-tone right will take hours because of all the spankings and whippings you get for being a bad wittle boy.

amirite?
