http://fc03.deviantart.com/fs29/i/20...killyaslig.png By name, by nature, The Harvesters collect the corpses after battles and wars. There are numerous ranks of The Harvesters, from those who clean away the rotten corpses, to those who capture and dispose of the recently animated fallen victims (also known as Zombie Grabbers). This particular Harvester is the ‘Parrot', well known for its extremely bright feathers, which are in sharp contrast with its drab clothes. Also known for its long beaked porcelain mask, that is tattooed with strange designs, that are also seen on other Harvesters. These ones wield long poles that have large 'clasps' or 'collars' on the end of them, that are used to grasp the necks of any unruly undead. They also carry a shovel, that they use to dig 'warpers', which are shallow grave-like ditches. This Harvester takes the souls of those who are Innocent, that where killed mistakenly in battle, and places them in the hole, where it would be gathered by another type of Harvester, known as the 'Collect'. They carry around large packs, that house a large amount of surprisingly domestic items, such as cooking utensils. It so has a bucket, presumably is used to fetch water. They have been known to carry peoples limbs around with them, which might be a source of food for them. All Harvesters carry a bird with them, at all times. It isn't known why they do, but some say this is a 'life source' for The Harvester, and if it is killed, The Harvester dies. The Parrot carries its 'bird' at the end of a chain around its wrist. the bird is housed in a glass cage, and is different shades of purple. Another chain is completely embedded into the Parrots neck. At the end of this, is a shriveled hand, that is rumored to be associated with Witch Craft, or black magic. It is also noted that Harvesters wear a large amount of clothes that is made from flesh. All Harvesters are completely registered and are lawfully able to gather corpses, as seen with the signed Law papers. Hmm, keep your distance with this 'un! |
Can I have his staff and his mask? I want them!

http://fc43.deviantart.com/fs26/i/20...killyaslig.png A more active type of Harvester, this one harvests the more 'active' dead, though this doesn't necessarily mean zombies. This one catches the bodies that are either raised Illegally, or the ones that are held together by black magic. The name of 'cage face' comes from the cage bound around the creatures head. It is unknown what the monster looks like underneath, and it is unknown if the creature can even hear or smell. This Harvester has two Flesh Ghouls, which help to 'sniff' out the intended victims. These Ghouls have their eyes bounded, as their eyes are too sensitive to light to be of use. The Ghouls drool green slime from their maws, which also provide 'marking' so The Harvester knows where it has been before. It also clings to anything that brushes against it, so the Ghouls are able to track them at a distance. This Harvesters weapon is a long cane type weapon. It is used to hook around the intended victims ankles and yank them to the ground. It can also be used as a club, or a spear. A large mouth is located in the chest cavity of the Cage Face, that is constantly open. The tongue seems to 'smell' like a snakes. The mouth is also presumed to help the creature to eat, as The Harvesters face is covered by black cloth. The creature has bowed legs, that have the feet always bending inwards, causing the creature to walk in a deranged and twisted way, its head lolling, and body shifting eerily. This creature, like all Harvesters, has a sealed documentation that legally states the creatures right to 'field' picking, and have ownership of the two Ghouls. The Harvester, like all of its brethren, has a bird which is constantly seen around it. Cage Faces have vulture-like birds, that sit on a perch hanging from the cane. Another ^^ Sorry for the ugly WaterMark, I am just paranoid...^^; |
great great ^^
but I dunno if I like the Parrot or the Cage Face better, can't actually decide :p |
...Can I have his staff and mask? If not, will he he sell me one of his pets?
|
Very very awesome, and I can guess what inspired you to do the mouth in his stomach :p.

Thank chooo.... http://fc11.deviantart.com/fs26/i/20...killyaslig.png Another class of the creatures know as Harvesters. The Imp is more brightly coloured, with less drab tones. Its personality seems to match this, as it is energetic, and quite responsive if met in the Battle Field. This creature is cherry with its work, seen to 'skip' merrily around, and has sometimes been heard to sing as it works. This Harvester, is much smaller then its fellows, about the size of a eight-year-old child. It is barely bigger then the Rootler, another type of Harvester. Like all Harvesters, this creature also has a bird always with it. The bird is much more colourful and bright compared with other Harvester birds. It is also kept on a longer 'leash' and has no noticeable perch, as it is always seen flying. Instead of ears, this particular Harvester has another set of mouths, complete with nostrils, and gaping mouths. These extra heads also help to sniff out way-ward spirits. The Imp has long, viciously barbed tongues. This tongues have bladed under-sides, and the Imp can use this to defend itself if necessary. This Harvester's job is to capture all of the spirits, wraiths and souls that have been lost. The creature does this via the strange net it carries. The net appears to be made out of a eerie green light-weight substance. Once the creature captures enough souls, it then typically either gives the souls (which it holds in a 'cage' made by the tongues of the extra mouths) to the creature known as the 'Collect', or seals then in a hole, known as a 'warper' for the 'Collect' to gather later. Its cloven hoofs give the small creature great speed, so it can capture even the most swift of fun-away spirits. They (the hoofs) provide the Imp with good balance on the site of battle, even if it has to run over corpses. Like every other Harvester, this one has a legalized documentation, allowing the creature to capture any spiritual magical forces e.i souls, wraiths, spirits, consciousness etc...without persecution. It is complete with a legal seal. The Imp also has a spray-can, which it has been seen to 'clean' the captured energies in its net, supposedly to clean them of mortal exposure. Some have suggested that this Harvester is seen more of a 'pet' with other Harvesters, as other types have been seen to 'pat' the Imp, when they criss-cross each others path. The Harvester Imp also has an arm band, that is inscribed with strange red-dye symbols. LoL, a wee cute one! :D |
Eeee this one's adorable! <333 Love the bright colors. Nice descriptions too. They rock.
|
