Jesus tittyfucking Christ some of you guys are harsh.

Well its helped him improve.

mlg man 09-11-2008 12:50 AM

thats true.

zimfromBM 09-11-2008 03:22 AM

needs more muscle tone, veins, etc. Its still pretty good though.

Tidus 09-11-2008 10:16 AM

Well, I made all the muscle definition again, some scars and I made the leg detail better.

I learned much about Zbrush in this week, I have readed some magazines, watched some tutorials, and some threads in Zbrushcentral..

But I must fix this edge:
http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/510...yerht21kf8.jpg

I don't know how to move vertices in Zbrush. I'm trying to export the normal map, but I have too much problems with it.

Thank you all for your comments.

Next I'll do the mouth hole (sorry for my language) and I'll make the teeth in 3D Max. Those are easy.

Cyph3r 09-11-2008 11:09 AM

for the edge youre having trouble with use the flatten/smooth brush.

munchdude1 09-11-2008 01:31 PM

Wow! You are really good at 3D modelling...and it seems you're getting better! It is a hard task to pull off!

Keep up the good work...that Scrab is getting scarier by the second! :D

Ollyabe 09-11-2008 10:17 PM

The scrab is getting better, it's just that little bit that you circled that needs a little work

mlg man 09-12-2008 01:55 AM

Man, I wish I could do what you do, the only 3d modeling i can do(with the programs i have) are objects made of thousands of sqaures. But anyway, keep up the good work, maybe you can sell this model on a website. $)

Tidus 09-12-2008 02:27 AM

It worked with smooth, but that's not the big problem. It is easy to fix in 3D max. Anyway thanks for helping.

The big problem is the normal map rendering. I'm getting much troubles rendering it in 3D Max, and I fixed the UVW and the configuration in GUVTiles in Zbrush (I do not like pelt mapping for this model).

Edit: I made a color test with colorize tool. It's near to be the Scrab with some more work:

http://img361.imageshack.us/img361/4...abcolorcn7.jpg

Well it has too much bright because the Zbrush material. I'm watching for materials, and I'm colorizing it with some browns.

simon6443 09-13-2008 03:01 AM

WOW, now that you colored it its weary cool, if you will draw more i suggest you try drawing a slog as a next thing.Good work!

Havoc 09-13-2008 03:31 AM

Isn't the chest and parts of the legs more beige rather then orange?

Ollyabe 09-13-2008 03:54 AM

Much better now that it is coloured...just work on that small bit that you posted

scipionyx 09-13-2008 05:01 AM

sry, I wasn't replying :dead: I really like how the Scrab turned out

GlacierDragon 09-13-2008 05:10 AM

This is looking good. Keep it up!

OddYouko 09-13-2008 08:30 AM

It looks pretty good colored. =P
Can't wait to see what your gonna make next.

Tidus 09-13-2008 01:24 PM

Thanks for the replies, the Scrab is too brighter due to the material. Here's an updated image, and a render in 3D Max with the low-poly model and the diffuse texture and the normal.

scipionyx 09-19-2008 03:53 AM

you know what? -I like the details in the skin :p but the gum and mouth is also great...

Tidus 09-20-2008 05:17 AM

Thanks! Well I can't post any updates now, I didn't improve it, I don't have time with the school, and I have some problems with my network.

Anyway, I'll improve it when I'll have time.
Thank you.

Edit: Now the problem is solved, but I don't know what to do next :fuzconf:

I was seeing closely at the Oddworld Scrab but I don't know what to do next. Any suggestions?

Thanks.
