These consoles are dead, I wish everyone could see that, they might of been great once, when I was like 5 years old and never played video games, but they're not any more, stop holding on to them to attempt to be younger or as a novelty because you actually remember it, we have better consoles, better games, hell better lives for a reason, our technology improves.

But if I must choose, I choose nintendo, it actually surived, even though I liked segaworld. :)

I think Leto was trying to sort of copy what Mudling sad but about Oddworld so he'd see why we cling onto old counsoles. I for one do this too. The new X-Box 360 is not what it's cracked up to be. Most games have the skin tone way off, bad voice acting, terrible plots, and lots of sequals that have nothing to do with their predecsor. I know in some way I've spelt predecsor wrong, but if you like games like Area 51, Doom 3, and other creepy games then buy the X-Box 360. I prefer the Nintendo Wii, not for the controls, but for the games that aren't pointed towards adults. Call me a wimp, but Doom 3 is enough to make me explode in fright.

I've been trying to hook up my Nintendo but haven't had much luck with it. I still think they're both awesome systems. And even though they made a game with both Sonic and Mario..the fights never gonna end.

It ended when sonic sucked balls and mario brought out Galaxy.

I don't really like either, they are too 'old school' for me........But If push came to shove, I would choose Nintendo.

Doom 3. I really got a kick out of the eery atmosphere, but the game did make me laugh occasionally. Like when there's a half dead fellow on the floor saying 'help me', then next time you turn around to look at him, he's gone. You just know he's going to attack you, but the question is when. I laughed my arse off when he attacked me, because I loved how Doom had evolved. Okay, Doom 3 was more or less only a tech demo, but it was still awesome (well, until you'd played it for about an hour, then it all became too predictable).

Doom 3 was the opposite of EVERY NEXT GEN GAME: NO BLOOM OR LIGHT EFFECTS AT ALL.

I think it was some time before Galaxy...

About the time of 3D Sonic. Mario didn't win at this time, but Sonic had already lost. At least, for now. Hopefully something decent will turn up. Eventually.

Sonic unleashed should let you all be happy, you get your precious 2d back.
Seems like it's going to be quite a good game though, but seriously, 2d games are over dead, I agree though, if a saga known for being 2d games, well, doesn't succsessfully make it 3d, maybe they should just give up, and give room for more modern games to be made from the ground up.
But Sonic unleashed looks like it may pull off having 2d elements...
Nintendo however continues to milk out their characters, which isn't neccarily a bad thing, I just wish they come up with some new icons.
