MS dont "buy" them, I dont mean it that way, but they pumped cash to the OWI, and them must make games for Xbox.

They are making Wage Wars which is a game, and someone emailed Oddworld Inhabitants and got an answer that they will still make games, only they will also make movies and TV shows.

Yes, games are better than movies/TV.

It is a different medium, you can't compare TV shows with movies, not only on the level of money and marketing, but each one is targeting on a different "users" (I can't find the proper word for it, excuse me)...

I still like games better, it's just my opinion.

And that it is what I was writing here. Games target on a specific people. You have been "targeted" by game creators.. Thats all.

Okay, it would be very cool if one of the canceled games came out. I'm certain Squeek's Oddysee will come out. I'm almost certain Munch's Exoddus will come out.

That would be great, finally to see Squeek...I can allready seen in my mind sligs in a beautifull highres textures, with post processing effects and overbright...:)

Squeek will probably be a simpler creature than Munch, so his Gamespeak will probably be simpler.

I think it will be a completely new creature, just like Munch was when Munch's Oddysee was first released.

Astoundingly enough I am inclined to agree with MeechShrykull, if Squeek was a Slig do you not think the cartel would have recognised the handprint on the moon yet.

I don't like any lies about Oddworld. They are LIES. If Oddworld Inhabitants will make Nod's Oddysee, or announce it, I will like it, but if it never gets announced, it remains a LIE.

If you want a fanfic, fine. Just keep it in Fan Corner where it won't confuse the general OWF populace.

It's because it was a widely believed rumour for many years that was only recently confirmed as false by Lorne.

Someone ha created this rumor to support the idea that OWI has told to the fans of the quintology. But as I think about it, the next game that was planned after Munch's Oddysee was Hand Of Odd....In the OWI Tour video we can see large crouds of running mudokons.Like in a realtime strategy game (C&C) ....

That was only to test the ability of the A.L.I.V.E. 2 game engine running on Xbox to produce large crouds, something OWI wanted to do more and more throughout the Quintology. I’m convinced it was actually Munch’s Exoddus they were working on at this point; The Hand of Odd had gone under long before.

Okay, I haven't read anything you guys wrote here 'cause I'm in a hurry right now but I want to say a little something and hope that I don't repeat someone's post.

I've read that Lorne Lanning wanted to make a movie because it's a better way to "control" the characters. That's why it probably won't be that fun for you gamers to watch and not to play what happens in the story. (I can understand that! I love playing video games.)
However, Lorne also said that there are chances that more games about Oddworld are coming after the movie is finished.
Citizen Siege truly seems to be a very promising project of Lanning's, and I'll look forward to seeing it soon.
