There's some major tl;dr right there
:
IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND OT: Abe Is Now! doesn't seem to be that wrong about Italy, it's government is retarded. |
Full Socialism/communisn/whateverfitshere will never work because peopel aren't equal and never will be. If we lifted all laws and destroyed the government, people would form their own groups in which some of them will be more dominating than others. because that's how humans work. I'd suck as a leader as I'm of the more submissive type. Power to independant people huh?
If everyone was to be equal, we'd have to do the EXACT same thing, and think alike and whatnot. I DO believe in equalityof human rights though. I just hate injustice. For me, any government would work.... As long as they leave me to my own fucking business, and stop trying to censor us. A government needs to be flexible, and actually care about the population(Know any government that does?) |
:
Yeah, that's what I was getting at. Equal human rights, but not equal social standing, because that's impossible. There's natural winners and natural losers, and natural dick-about-in-the-middle ers. And no, I don't know any government that actually has its priorities right. But hey, that's politics, it's all about getting to power and keeping power- survival of the fittest. The very fact that the political system works on a Darwinist model is a clear indicator that there will never be equal success in the world. Equal human rights yes, but not equal success. Can't happen. |
Well. can the government at least give everyone health care and all that malarky without making you charge more for good service? That's shit.
Back to my Marxist fanboyism. There are some people who are simply born to do something. One person is naturally creative, the other logistic, another charismatic, and another physical. Really, I'm sure you know at least one person you just wouldn't want to be a doctor, but is competent in at least one field. Why should the logical be better rewarded than the physical. Some people are just meant to be construction workers or plumbers or whatever. Why should the creative have to "make it" to get any sort of income. Unless they just sit around and smoke pot like today's artists of course.' That's why I find capitalism to be fundamentally bad, but the system works, if ever so badly. While Marxism is fundamentally good, it is extremely hard to achieve. |
I'm sorry, but it takes a hell of a lot more work and skill to be a doctor than most manual labour workers.
|
Yes, but naturally some people are better suited to that than others.

No one will EVER do anything out of selfishness... Yes... Doctors should do it because of drive and desire for the subject itsself.. but it doesn't mean they can't expect to be paid well either. They put a hell lot of work into curing and prolonging human lives. They SHOULD be rewarded for spending years of study and training to gain their skills... Its much more necessary for me to have good health, than to have someone wash my windows... That's just how it is... yes, someone is better suited to wash windows. But it doesn't mean the value of the work is the same. honestly, I couldn't care less about my windows. I never wash them, and I never cared about washing them. I always have my curtains on anyway.

Well, what about firemen, and police officers, and teachers?

This is the country I would run.

I know the world isn't perfect. In fact i hate most things about it... But it's ridiculous to give the same salary to everyone.. Means I could be smart and just do an easy slack-off job and get the same salary as a hardworking person? If people want more salary, they should fight for it. if there is a high demand on a certain type of people, their salary will increase. Our nurses and social workers in denmark are striking right now, and the hospital watinglists are piling up. Maybe they'll get more.. Who knows. |
:
Teachers, police and firemen should probably earn more, but you can't give everybody one salary. It would still have to be a staggered wage system to some degree. |
It is often the case that the wage of a profession is inversely proportional to its value to society.
|
:
Do you mean that the more value the higher slary they get or the opposite? Im shooting for the oppositing since you used "Inverse" but then again... *hides* |
Opposite, if I was dictator I would impose a percentage of tax exemption to civil servants and a huge tax jack for stupidly high earners.
Teachers working from 7AM to 8PM and earning a pittance while people kick a ball around a field for ninety minutes a week and earn millions is just not on. |
Why do civil servants even pay tax? They're basically paying their own wage!
