I don't think Munch's Exoddus would have told a large part of the overall story. It's a bonus game and, like Abe's Exoddus, won't have a real effect on the overall story arc of the Oddworld Quintology.
Besides, he didn't say he'd skip the game, just that he'd like the play Squeek. :p |
Abe's Exoddus had a large effect, they could turn all of the Mudokons into slaves, so there would be no one to help Abe in Munch's Oddysee.
I would play Munch's Exodus. At least continue from the last game that was made. I bet all the Oddworld employees can play all the games they want from Oddworld. I wonder how I'll join them... But where and how? Hmmm.
:
None of those Mudokons were in MO anyway. |
Why weren’t they? All those freed slaves have to go and live somewhere.
:
How would they play games that have not been developed? |
The Fearietales.
Hand of the odd, I always wanted to see the battles of oddworld.
But munch's exodus, Squeek's oddessy and the brutal ballad of Fagus clot sounded great, from what little that we knew about them. :D But what the hell is pound dog? Sure I've seen the pictures, but I know nothing else. |
It's the story of a dog working in the biggest meat-packing factory in China. But he soon discovers that, due to bird flu and the subsequent slaughter of millions of chickens, the Powers That Be are going to make up the lost revenue in dog meat. That's right! Pound Dog's on the menu!
Cool, just like Abe's Oddysee.
:
Well wouldn't they be able to play what they got of the game anyway? You're right if they just had ideas. |
The very last part of a developmental process is fitting the parts together, if they had anything it would have been some basic level and character designs.
I would like to play SligStorm and/or Hands of Odd.
:
So I would have to say: Hand Of Odd. |
:
Lorne told me nothing about Pound Dog. So far as I know, all information about it was given to you and Max in Nottingham.
My spies in California are worth every penny.
:
Yes. The cartoon ones.
I think that Pound Dog would be cool, just like Abe's Oddysee all over again.
They had an elf and wizard one, too. OWI planned to explore the same story taking place in a multitude of different worlds and times. Because they know, the fans will just lap it up if it's all the same as AO, Oddworld's Master Mold.
BM - you have to remember that now you're a mod, you are considered a trustworthy individual. That means no sarcasm and no making up facts.
Unless you really want to. Forte! |
Scrabs evolved into rocks!
:
Damn. I was about to link to the post you made that in! If only I were just a bit quicker... |
Tell me you could have resisted.
I would also play one of the canceled games that were never announced, the ones that I don't even know the title of.
In other words, you would like to play every Oddworld game that did exist, was going to exist, might have existed, could have existed, never would have existed, and have existed. Quantum tunnelling to other universes.
No. I would like to play one of the Oddworld games that were planned by Oddworld Inhabitants, but never announced.
You don't know if their concepts even existed unless they were announced, but that means knowing about them precludes their inclusion for your consideration as defied by your statement. Observation makes them real by certifying their reality, but you only want the games that are unobserved, and therefore most accurately considered unreal. That sounds pretty damn quantum to me.
So what happens if you put an Oddworld game in a box with nothing but MeechShrykull1029 and a radioactive trigger?
