Yes, what Facs said (except with more accurate details); how do you accidentally rape a young girl?

EDIT to say that anyone who attempts to answer that RHETORICAL question is perma-banned.

No such thing as accidental rape

Unless you involve quantum mechanics.

I believe someone mentioned the first man had a 'mental defect' somewhere in this thread. That maybe, but you can't use it as an excuse for everything you do wrong. However, in some cases it can be/partially be a reason. Such a 'mental defect' doesn't mean you're incapable of thinking. I believe I can be an example of this.

Is Venks description of saying 'guts' for the second man an incorrect description? Since theoretically, that means he very much wants to do all these evil, heinous acts, but doesn't have the strength to do it. It's probably the point of the question, but I find it had to believe that someone would just want to kill someone on sight for no particularly good reason.

The first man is mostly good, but makes one error. It may be a large error, but it doesn't mean he can't do what he can to make up for it afterwards, and feelings of guilt and regret are part of someone's atonement for their crimes. Since he feels that, you'd think he'd also want to do what he can to help, so perhaps he could apologise to the girl in person and give her all the support possible, among other things. One flaw doesn't make you a completely different person among the rest of your life's actions. I believe the rest of his previous life and anything he does afterwards will make up for that since he purposefully does good deeds. However, the second man may not have done anything especially bad, but it doesn't sound like he's done anything particularly good either, and he may not have committed a crime, but the possibility is always there, and he hasn't done anything to benefit others unlike the first man. I think the one flaw is allowable among a life of such good work by contrast to the second man.

I vote first guy.

Are you saying you believe there is no hope of redemption at all? That you believe that one cannot redeem themself? Or change?

I'm saying that just because he lead a positive and good life all the time doesn't give someone a get-in-a-child-free card.
Just like some kid that's been abused till his 18th doesn't have the right to do it to someone else, there's no logic there.

There should never be a "yes but he..." involved in rape or any other crime for that matter. You are responsible for your own actions on that time in particular and what you did or did not do before that particular time has nothing to do with it whatsoever.

As we all know, Quantum mechanics are the kinkiest type of Mechanics ;)

Love is chemistry.

Sex is physics.

This thread is surprising amusing, considering the first paragraph involves the rape of a young girl. *shrug*

Oh, by the by Havoc, I was actually forthing that I was also the 2nd man... though I'm sure we can all agree that you're a sadistic basterd aswell, if you really want us to :P

Sex is physics.

And the next four hours after that is Naptime.

Wolfie-Dark Steef 04-07-2008 02:57 PM

I believe that the second man is better because he can control his thoughts. The other man can't just keep thoughts as thoughts he has to make them actions. Also he doesn't just hurt a girl, he hurts a young girl.

Hobo 04-08-2008 01:14 AM

I'm the better man.

End fucking of.

Strike Witch 04-08-2008 02:40 AM

So...

The Second man then, Hobo?

Hobo 04-08-2008 08:13 AM

No. The super secret third option was infact: me.

Mojo 04-08-2008 10:52 AM

So you're the third option, yet the second man? I'm confused...

Guess we'll just have to wait for a tl;dr post from BM explaining and providing diagrams about how that works.

A farmers defense against his raping of a goat a few years back was that he tripped on a rock and it 'fell' into the goats anus.

Wings of Fire 04-09-2008 03:07 AM

Did they ask him what he was doing walking around his fields with his pants down?

Nate 04-09-2008 09:18 AM

Was that the guy who was forced by a village leader to marry the goat?
