If that does happen, the dedicated Fallout nerd coalition will tear them to pieces then rape their mothers.
|
I am a member of said coalition. I strongly believe they are some of my favourite games ever and am distraught I can't get them to work any more:-(
|
The fact that Interplay keeled over barely helps my Fallout withdrawal, and it's nearly impossible to find it where I live.
|
I want Oblivion with Guns.
|
Hellgate: London?
___________________________________________________________ So, how far along is production on Fallout 3? |
Like, BETHDESDA Oblivion WIth Guns.
|
It's coming out this fall.
|
Can't wait! wait, If it's anything like oblivion I'll be stoked.
|
It's got the Oblivion engine last I checked, so it should play or feel a little similar.
yar this might be a game to get me to plug my 360 back in |
Reviving this:
http://www.kotaku.com.au/games/2008/...australia.html It's been fucking banned in Australia. |

Gentle-BALRAAAAGH RADIATION?
|
NEED A DISPENSER HERE
|
I tried Fallout 1, it was not my cup of tea, but that says nothing about the game itself, I just was too lazy to learn to play.
Looking forward to Fallout 3, detonating bombs in the middle of cities FTW. |
In the middle of a city?
More like Blowing up a city |
Oh my god there is a 5 part demo of Fallout 3 and I shat my pants a little.
It's pretty much a huge mod for Oblivion. With guns. just oh my. |
Seven Days
Seven days and counting, if you give a shit.
|
fuck yeah 7 days now over here. don't know if I'll have enough money to spare as soon as it comes out though, especially as I kind of want the special edition.
|
It's out here, it's also wonderful. Over here in New Zealand though, it's quite possibly the most expensive game I have ever paid for/on the market right now. $140NZD ($82USD) for the Standard Edition, and the Special Edition on Amazon.com is $80USD. seriously fucked me off.
Wonderful game. genuinely frightening scavenging for things. NPCs have a lot more character than most other games. |
Yes, it tis a truely awsome game! Its getting to almost be as bad as my crack habbit!
|
it is also quite challenging. a stark contrast to the Fable 2 I've been playing lately.
|
You guys suck.
|
Well, with the game rush, a week has gone by and I haven't got this, think I'm going to get it soon, getting near the end of fable 2, and plan to play F3 for a bit before messing around with both worlds and replaying Fable 2, etc.
Still have to get dead space, mirror's edge when it comes out and gears of war when I can get around to it. |
once you get Fallout, you wont want to replay Fable for a while.
|
Does it suffer from the lack of immersion that oblivion did? Do the characters still look hell ugly? So far from what I've seen, only the main characters look hidieous, is it possible to make decent looking ones?
Well, justr got more exited for this, may get it this weekend. |
Thoughts by Me
Hardcore Fallout fans will most likely hate this game.
Oblivion with guns is a hell of a lot of fun. Graphics better than Oblivion , but not up to Gears of War standards. Kept most of the elements that fans loved from Fallout, eliminated most of elements from Oblivion that fans hated. Detail almost overwhelming, way too many beards to choose from. :D I want a PIP-BOY 3000 !! Four words for success: Terrible Shotgun.......... Lincoln Repeater !!!!!!!!! They just KICK ASS. |
I've read up on this game on Wikipedia. For some reason I thought Fallout was an FPS, it really surprised me that it actually was an RPG. I'm tempted to try it out although I'm afraid it won't be my cup of tea either. We'll see.
