Hobo say what you like, but a number of people deserve infractions here, and Abe is Now! is not on my list.
Come one people, just look at the main forums? They're fine. That's becuase they're oddworld releated, but it's the welcomes and birthdays and offtopic forums that are filled with spam and flame, hell, we have a classics thread dedicated to them.
Numerious people are flaming, I'm not going to name names, but they seem to enjoy closing threads, had one of my threads closed, and I wasn't even there when the fighting started, but people reacted to certain others, yet they still stay here, and we have people like Abe is Now! Leaving, what does that have to say.
And this rep system, it's being misued, we have certain people punnishing "good" people with it, yet the "bad" people remain unscathed, and are instead rewarded for what little good remark they might make, which is not even a contribution to the froums.
Now, all of the mods are putting in an effort to stop this, and Hobo, I've not forgoten you, you are actually resonably responcable, but certain people are given the blind eye, and people that are usually good are getting punnished for their one off slip ups.
I get told by Katarie or whatever his name is, that all of my posts are stupid, and backing up ONAST who is going on a flaming spree and pfftopicly having a conversation about naked robots. Yet they have reasonable high rep points.
And why are people like Carnix and I repeatedly on the sharp end of Hobo's rep giving points, I mean, look, you can't give me points on how much you like me or not becuase of who I am, if I was using your logic, I could give you minus points me making light of the homless situation around the world, while you are clearly not due to you having frequent accsess to a computer, and don't anyone try and joke about bhim going to an internet cafe, where's he going to get the money. I could say that the homeless is a serious matter in the world, and claiming you are a hobo as if it's a novelty doesn't help.
And I'm sure several deserving members are pissed becuase of negative rep points I've given out, fine, you're allowed to be, but according to the rules, you clearly deserved them.
Oh and another thing, how many infractions can you get before you're banned, because I'm sure I've recorded certain people who are still high getting told they've been infracted too many times.
And my problem is not with the mods, you are trying to do your job, it is us that is doing it, expecially those that tend to stick to the offtopic forums, there are exceptions of course.
Now if anyone wants to convince me that Abe is Now! is a reckless spamming, closing threads and such, please try.
Oh and Hobo, maybe he's upset becuase he cares about the forums and the people in it, but clearly he's lost hope in it now.
