And running makes it worse, it puts me more on edge, but I'm fine as soon as I get in my room.

Because I'm there.

Yes, and I'm outside, not trying to bite your toes, cringing at everything I hear from the other side of the door.

skillyaslig 01-08-2008 11:43 PM

I get scared by bumble bees. Those things freak me out. They, like, dive-bomb you. I screamed and fled when one zoomed around me *shudders* creepy fat flying things

Safe in the knowledge that bees die when they sting you, I would encorage it and then laugh at their suicidal stupidity.

The very thought of vomit morbidly scares me....I am so not gonna survive as a uni student. :(

Hobo 01-12-2008 04:47 AM

The only encounter i have had with vomit at uni is my own. Once. After drinking a bottle of vodka.

Scared of vomit! Bah! I eat vomit for breakfast! ...umm

Mojo 01-12-2008 06:50 AM

Vomit isnt' scary!

Well, it is when it's starting to creep toward you. And it looks at you with it's meatball eye, and smiles at you, with corn-like teeth...

Sounds a lot like Hobo...

skillyaslig 01-12-2008 07:22 AM

Oh, and moths, at night, when they get trapped behind the curtains and thrash about, then crawl in your hair and get stuck. That freaks me right out, damn bugs! or whatever the hell they are...
Well, anything small, and with more then 4 legs...well, no, mouse sometimes scare me as well, with all their little feet, and...littleness...I dunno, guess I have phobia against bugs and mice.

This topic seems familiar. But anyway, I've always been able to trick myself into hearing sounds that aren't there. Like at night when trying to go to sleep I might hear someone saying my name. I can hear music too. It freaks me out so much but... I'm sure other people do it too? Ya probably.

http://www.oddworldforums.net/showthread.php?t=14670 I'm thinking about that. Are you?

I usually freak myself out by being on the computer alone searching up strange folk tales, and someone usually comes in and calls my name making me jump. I'm also quite nervous while talking to seniors (not the High School kind), especially if somethings wrong with him/her. It actually makes me feel ashamed.

I get freaked out walking through houses/hallways at night with no lights on. Even at my ripe old age I think a monstah is chasing me so I run very quickly to a place of sleep.

I always have my night-light on, beside which I prop a picture of Princess Diana. She may not be the People's Princess anymore, but she will always be mine.

You silly dicknuggets haven't mentioned shadow people yet.

I am so disppointed in you all.

Leto 01-12-2008 10:06 PM

Shadow people?

http://www.gamemelody.com/images/Ico.jpg??

That's quite geeky of me

Strike Witch 01-12-2008 10:44 PM

Very geeky.

Leto 01-12-2008 10:55 PM

I'll defend myself by saying I never played Shadow of the Colosus, and I only watched someone play mostway through Ico.

Strike Witch 01-12-2008 10:56 PM

Ditto.

I don't even have a PS2.

True. Wasps, now they got the picture figured out. Detach the bajonett and that's it. And then I come with the swatter and a sting-induced frenzy...

As for me, I find it shocking when one of my suspicions or predictions suddenly become true. Especially in FPS games, in those 'Someone must be around that corner' moments.

This is a fallacy. Most bees do not die when they sting.

Seems Carnix and I were wrong. +1 Rep to wikipedia and Hobo. Only honey bees die when they sting you.

They also form a ball around other insect intruders and kill them with body heat. Now that is a thing I would hate. It would freak me out, to stay on topic.

Hobo 01-13-2008 05:00 AM

That is awesome. How many bees would it take to overheat one human being i wonder?

*daydream*

Mojo 01-13-2008 05:17 AM

Methinks alot, since they can only raise the temperature only so high. Like between the 40-50 ish.

Oddey 01-13-2008 07:28 AM

Whenever I'm alone anywhere I always imagine being assasianated for no reason. Usually a single creak is enough to make me stiff with fear. Whenever I watch a scary movie at any time I spend a long time imagining whatever was in it popping in aroun the corner and eating me. If it's dark anywhere even in a game I always proceed with caution or simply run through.

Carnix 01-13-2008 11:36 PM

Dammit, I was going to post that, but I thought someone would tell me I was wrong.

Death by bee heat would be pretty cool. They're fuzzy and warm. mongmongmong
