Paul you need to understand that not everything is automatically a crime just because it's deemed 'illegal'. It's also illegal to jaywalk, are you going to walk a mile to find a crosswalk instead of just crossing the street to get to the store on the other side? No, because it's not logical.

For the same reason you don't buy a new version of your game if you break the original, not if you have the option to make a backup first. Some rules are just silly and this is one of them. No-one will sue you for making a home copy of your game.

If you told certain people about it I’m sure they would since there is physical evidence ;) maybe for jaywalking too if it was on camera.

And yeah I know the rules (or laws actually) are stupid but they're there and so they should be enforced.

For example, I can’t grow a plant because its illegal (don’t matter if you sell it as drugs or whatever) but I can own a shotgun if I have a licence.

Besides that’s only your opinion, I could say, “hey I know doing the speed limit is the law but if I’m late then it’s not logical to do the speed limit despite the fact I could kill myself/someone else”

You can kill someone just as easy going a 100M/h instead of a 140 so I don't see your point. Besides, driving fast is only to be done by those who know how and do it responsibly. I drive over the speed limit all the time, I get my fines for it and I pay them, but I always make sure never to endanger anyone else. If everyone else is doing 80 I will not pass them going 200. If people are working on the road I always keep to the custom speed limit because people are working near the street.

Laws are (imo) very much open to interpretation but only by those who have the ability to apply common sense which already disqualifies more then half of earth's population.

Well if you think its ok to break the laws you dont agree with then ok, but the fact remains that its illegal.. also if you did that in the UK you'd be banned from driving
