Very cool stuff. I always like seeing new OW art. Thanks Xav and Max for snagging those for us to see. You guys at OddBlog seem to have the connections. ;)

How the hell did you get this?
|
Xav or Max probably contacted him.
|
Ohhh nice job! Me like! Me like a lot. Funny though how we see concept art for the Oddworld Movie before we see any of CS.
|
WHOAH! AWESOME! IT'S SO GREAT TO SEE THESE PICTURES OF A PROJECT THAT WILL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY! LIKE TOTALLY KICK RECTUM!

Wonderful! Back to the Quintologie! :)
I'm glad to hear this. |
These made me want to cry in a strange mixture of happiness, jealousy and suspense. I want to see more, but at the same time I don't want to see too much before the movie, and also I hate getting pwn'd in artwork.
But seriously, awesome find. I feel like something's woken up inside of me. |

If CS is coming before The Oddworld Movie, how come they've realised concept art of The Oddworld Movie but not of CS?
|
Because they wanted to make sure fans would not be afraid they forgot about Abe's story?
|
Those images are so awesome!
Do you reckon they will make the oddworld movie with Vanguard Animation? Guess it's way too early to speculate, as it all depends on how Citizen Siege performs!! I so want to work on this film though, I got into animation because of Oddworld! |
I'll never forget abe-it's impossible!
|
I hope it isn't Vanguard. In my opinion Shrek isn't animated that nicely, and I could think of some more animation companies that could do this better than Vanguard.
|
Shrek is animated by DreamWorks Animation. Vanguard has only released Valiant and Happily N’Ever After, neither of which I’ve seen.
|
hmm I wonder what software the're using, im pretty sure they used maya for ao/ae
|
I'd think it would be best for them to make their own, more effective system from scratch. That would likely yield the best results, since they know what it's to be used for, and what it will require.
I'd rather Oddworld do it all themselves like they used to for the first two games, though that may not really be something I can expect... |

Happily N’Ever After has rocketed up to 4% since you posted that.
|
Nice how you feel that any fact I quote requires verification.
Probably not a bad instinct, as the percentages were actually 31% and 4% respectively. I'd blame dyslexia if I had it... |

These images are the Cell Condo Silo, where the Mudokons sleep at night in Rupture Farms. It didn't appear in any movie of Abe's Oddysee. If you don't believe me ask to Oddworld Inhabitants.
|
Let me guess, you asked them about the pictures we posted on TOGG? :p

I crapped myself looking at this. I'm all mushy with anticipation...and poop.
I'm really glad to hear that they're actually working on something, instead of packing up thier bags and leaving because they ran out of ideas. I was really worried about that. Knowing this, i will now search on ebay for some odd goodness because my playstation is halfway across the states. OT: Maybe that's what's going on with all the other unannounced game movies, going severely undercover. It would be great to see the (dreaded 'm' word) series retire with a movie. The halo one is verry iffy, with the original plan being in live action and all... |
Awesome, so they are making an Oddworld movie! I thought they were concentrating entirely on CS. Nice to see I was wrong. Go OWI!!

The movie could be a bonus like the Guardian Angel in Abe's Oddysee.

:
Just no. |
I think you're right... but all is possible.
