I, unfortunately have no unordinary pets...
I wish for a tarantula. Then I'd have no problem getting my brother off of my PC.

Wish granted!
You get a pet...oh hang on wrong topic

skillyaslig 07-21-2007 06:30 AM

LOL, I would love a tarantula. So exotic. Or a snake. or a crocodile.

:(I used to have a dog, :)she was older than I was in normal years and could still run.

I have a dog we call the Crypt Keeper.

I'm fairly certain she died quite some time ago, but refuses to accept the fact.

She certainly smells dead.

I also have a couple of african dwarf toads, three crazy dwarf gourami, and a son.

Humans don't make very good pets. They're too demanding.

yeah, I had one from India, but it kept on eating the sofa so I sent it back. I now got a new one from my next door neighbour, it keeps the mice down.

I'm aware of that, but aren't reptiles and amphibians related?

OffTopic: No there not related but they related in a way because there both cold blooded.
Ontopic: I have a cat and a border collie(dog) plus 3 tanks and a pond of fish.

You back again?

Missed you :D.

@Mox.Co: Axolotls are meant to be kept in separate tanks, alone.

Then how do you breed them?
I want my axolotols to have some hardcore sex so I can have even more axolotols!

Oddys 07-30-2007 08:47 AM

Oh, someone who has axolotls, too.
I have... *counting...counting* 27 of them. I'm a grower. The onliest grower in south-germany as I know. They're very rare and very valuable here.

moxco 07-30-2007 01:39 PM

I remember reading somewhere that they will only kill each other if there is not enough food in the tank.

Not true. ;)

But you should never put axolotls of various sizes in the same tank.

You can't get a crocadile but you can get a caiman!

If they must be in the same tank, a spacious tank should be used, as well as keeping them approximately the same size, so as non will pick on each other.

MoxCo., I rather doubt an Axolotl would go so far as to kill another one...not directly, at the very least.
