The first one was just called PlayStation (Don't underestimate the power of PlayStation!). It was only dubbed PSOne when they redesigned it, while at the same time the PS2 was announced.

I guess, I do like the PSOne though, it had no tacky, un-needed games for it, it had quite a variety of RPGs! But I don't like the PS2, it has a lot of crap games for it, in my opinion...

Surely the same thing could be said of the 360 also? Wii excepted, most consoles are merely a more powerful version of its predecessor.

Actually, the 360 can be used as a media center, out of the box.

But I think the PS3 has that as well...

EDIT: Oh my god! There's a message in a Dutch Newspaper saying the expensive version (E 599,-) will be the only version sold. At least for the time being. The E 499,- version will be available later.

Yes. There is a Nintendo DS and a Gameboy Advanced SP. The SP is a tad older than the DS though, and the DS's graphics are much better than the SP. They resmble N64 graphics.

Gameboy Color: NES
Gameboy Advance: SNES
Nintendo DS: N64

I find the Wii extremely enterntaining, however why so many of you here don't like it I don't know.

I just got a 360 and so far I'm not too impressed. They better come out with some good platformers at some point or I'm going to get tired of it real fast. I never did get into the whole shooter craze. I like my games to be "fun".

I agree, there aren't many platformers for XB360, but wait for Portal!!!

Kameo is a bit like a platformer. Though there really aren't any good ones out, though there is Sonic, but it sucks. Try Marvel Ultimate Alliance or Kameo.

Shit, I wouldn't have advised that. Better hope that the 360 gets some good games, otherwise that was a silly purchase. Same with mine. Why the **** did I get one? Lol! $700* away from something useful.
