Good news, I managed to scan it, make it completely black and white, and rid of the sitty new addition! Yaay!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...inprogress.jpg That image is kind of blurry, something I intend to fix when I get home. :) It will end up looking like the following, without the little blotch on the circle. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...progress-1.jpg Another edit: It's the size change that makes the visual difference. My badski! |
That reminds me of Halloween. :)
|
Good job it looks much better this way.
|
Even I think the one with the dark-red color looks cooler. :fuzblink:
|
Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I have some new things, and I really don't think it's worth making another whole art thread for. Weee!
This is a blue treeish thing I made in art class. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...atercolor2.jpg THIS is a self-portrait in the form of linoleum print! Mm-mmm fun! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...Portrait-2.jpg And I am going to try desperately to keep up with my artwork consistently so as to keep this thread living and fun for ALL! |
Kimon! I missed you, and your artiness.
Tree thing is great! I love it, though I can't see any blue, besides maybe a faint bit in the background, if that's what you mean. How did you make those splats? I can't imagine you flicking the pen's ink all over, but I could be wrong. The portrait is... not coming up for some reason. Once it works I'll give you feedback on it. EDIT: Whoa! Nice, I like that. How does that work, it is in the paper? Like scratch art type stuff? And what are you staning on? Good stuff, please more. |
Kimon, your surreal art is very well done :). You have a great ability in metamorphosisizing (sp?) things and also just makign generally cool stuff. Go you!
|
Cool, you(r artworks) are back again! :)
I like that drawing style. My favorite picture is the first one. The tree looks nice and the inkblots make the picture kind of lovely. It's inspiring. :) |
Heeeeey!!!!!
Well, all those things I posted all them months ago got me into art school, so now I have some more pictures to post! WOOT. The first is a Chuck Close style piece with boxes of COLOR!!! http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/phot...17216_5668.jpg This'n involves chunks of color, based on the same photograph. http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/phot...17215_4427.jpg The next four are part of a series where we had to do a bunch of charcoal drawings as shapes of value (lightness or darkness), so minimal use of line. Except for the last, which is a reproduction of a Chardin painting. http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/phot...17219_8944.jpg http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/phot...17510_6600.jpg http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/phot...17511_7825.jpg http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/phot...17512_9007.jpg Unfortunately, it's all Fine Arts classwork and things, most of my personal artwork is in tiny sketchbooks that are to difficult to photograph, so yeah. I'm on a 9-day break tomorrow though, so hopefully I'll get some shit up by then. |
Holy fucking shit, how did I miss this art? When I finish recording an EP I will hunt you down and make them albums and shit.
Man you're good. And on two pictures I see painted toenails! you deserve free money |
Your art is good, I like your pics!!!

|
Very cool art love the style
|
Free money is in order!!!
And yes, albums... if you do finish that EP and have a request, this fella will be more than happy to draw you a pik-shur! Thanks, fellas. More to come, probably in a long while. |
This is beautiful! Hey, on your facebook there's this picture of skulls that I like. What did you use to make that one?
|
That was also acrylic paint. I didn't post those ones because they were all blurry. :-p
Those were some of my faves, though. I need to get a good picture of those up. Speaking of which, I also have some sketchbook drawings on my camera, which isn't cooperating with my laptop right now. Should be up soon, though. |
Hi guys, it's been too long since I updated. Mostly because I don't take pictures of my art. Anyways, here's some old ones.
Frenchy! http://photos-299.ll.facebook.com/ph...83322_8955.jpg Sherlock! http://photos-299.ll.facebook.com/ph...83323_3298.jpg Me! This is a self-portrait for class. We had to draw our reflection in a window at night. http://photos-299.ll.facebook.com/ph...983325_452.jpg |
I like your latest pics, especially the last one! You're a great artist :D!!! Keep your job up!

BAM! 6 MONTHS LATER!!!!
Here's some things from my sketchbook this year that I'm rather happy with. http://photos-c.ll.facebook.com/phot...84058_8560.jpg http://photos-d.ll.facebook.com/phot...784059_118.jpg http://photos-e.ll.facebook.com/phot...84060_1625.jpg Hmm, fucking facebook can't make these images any bigger, or zoomable or anything. Which sucks, cause the whole point of these pages is that there's a shitload of tiny little details everywhere. Oh well. There's 12 more pages, I'm just posting a sampling right now. Hopefully I'll not be lazy and find a way to make them bigger. ENJOY! :D |
LOL, I really like that deranged horse thing! Tis cute! ^^
|
OMG thanks dude. Ponies are my power animal.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Sketchy006.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Sketchy005.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Sketchy007.jpg |
Wow Kimon! :D
the way you're drawing reminds me of the drawing style of a friend of mine  He draws nearly exactly like you do xD The pictures are all kewl :fuzcool: I'm looking forward to see more of your art :D |
Wow Kimon, there's such a lot to take in with your sketches that I can honestly say I am flabbergasted by the detail :) awesome work.
|
Thanks ya'll fellas. More!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Sketchy008.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Sketchy009.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...etchy010-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...d/HANDS017.jpg Weird, but most of this stuff I was super-happy with when I made them but really am not impressed by anymore. The hands, however, continue to hold my interest. I just can't stop drawing them! Mmmm! |
Those are fucking awesome, especially the hands.
|
the hands do look interresting, what have you done to draw them like that? (I mean is every line controlled or not?)
|
Thanks!
:
And for the record, that squiggly one is a right hand, meaning I did it left-handed. Which explains the squeegles. |
Poor giraffe unicorn thingie! Tis shiny though :D me like ^^
