Aaaaah right I thought you meant it was banned as in it was banned and it still is.
It's pretty stupid that they banned it. Since bloody is pretty much the most commonly used "swear word" that people use over here.. A lot of people don't even count it as swearing anymore.

I know. It's kinda weird.
Like, you can watch Eastenders at 7.30 and hear some character in the pub having an argument shouting 'Oi, you bloody bitch...' and so forth, but that a harmless Aussie tourism board ad was banned because the woman at the end said 'so where the bloody hell are you?' Especially as bloody is a British word anyway.
Strange world... Full of contradiction. |
