Time doesn't really count. I've been here for 4 years and I'm still no mod. I check in 4-5 times a day, so I'm online most of the time. Of course, no newcomer has made it to modship in a month, they need to experience how things are done around here.
The current mod-team seems OK with me. To the OT case, I think a single mod is not enough there. It's the most active sub-forum of OWF, loads of new posts and threads every day... |
Time doesn't count in the sence of, when you're here long enough you become a moderator automaticaly. The time you have been around only confirms your knowledge of the boards and the rules. Someone who has been around 4 years (like you) has a better understanding of what is accepted and what is not then someone who just joined a month ago. Not to mention the level of trust that is involved :).

And ugh. Don't start that nominating shite. At least not until a person of higher authority gives an opinion. Even then, I've realized that it's still pretty stupid even if we do have people in mind. |
